Episode 13: Fluoride, Backseat Drivers and Roundabouts

Episode 13: Fluoride, Backseat Drivers and Roundabouts

Hey hello hi there. Episode 13 comes with a lot of... lets face it.. Ashley yelling. Amanda talks about her relaxing weekends that always turn into not relaxing weekends, and how first year shots suck (she might have cried more than Levi did)! Ashley talks about things all end of the year, packing her classroom, and end of the year sadness. You won't guess who bought Sylvester Stallone's Mansion in Amanda's Spill the Tea while Ashley's Spill the Tea is more on the serious side (trigger warning: Miscarriage). Go Off's for this week include backseat drivers (Just DON'T BE ONE) and roundabouts, since apparently not a single one of us knows how to use them.. Amanda, again, talks about not being to relax on the weekends in Why am I Like This (personal problem?), while Ashley talks about waking early only to do all of the things she needs to do besides getting ready while ultimately maker her even more late! Our topic for this week is First World Problems and let me tell you.. we have A LOT of them! Because my Amazon package said it was supposed to be here by 1:00 and it didn't get here until 2:15 and Starbucks was out of Sweet Cream Cold Foam and WE JUST CAN'T DEAL. Here is what we are liking this week: POPfit Leggings and Dinnerly!

After a very busy week, the New Witches are finally back to serve up some spookiness with two stories that both inspired horror films. An Interview With Archaeologist Ya'akov Billig About the 2700-Year-Old 'Holy' Toilet He Unearthed in Jerusalem

An Interview With Archaeologist Ya'akov Billig About the 2700-Year-Old 'Holy' Toilet He Unearthed in Jerusalem

A surprisingly hilarious discussion about the recent discovery of a mansion that overlooked the Temple Mount in Jerusalem 2700 years ago;  with owners so rich, they were able to afford their own toilet. What Ya’akov really discovered is another fragment of the magnificent city Jerusalem once was… as far back as the 9th century BCE. The beautiful Proto-Aeolic capitals he found pre-date any similar capitals found in Greece. And through the ancient window frame Ya'akov discovered, we can reimagine the grand view the royal inhabitants of the mansion enjoyed.  Archaeology continues to uncover a 1st Temple Period Jerusalem as glorious as the Bible describes.
