134: "GLOBALLY WARMED"
Obey Your Master
EstoBro and TV return from the 'holiday' break by analyzing the wrap of the two-part finale of Stranger Things (5:00), and ***SPOILERS*** how music once again has prevailed to be a major attention grabber in a social media presence. After breaking bread on how The Gents spent their holiday, they give thanks for the other major holiday that is more modern: Prime Day (12:40), and how it is cutting into the market for gamers of all backgrounds. With deals for gamers everywhere, both EstoBro and TV seem conflicted that maybe it is time to finally join the PC-Master race...but, it will not happen before this next basketball season (25:10). EstoBro can finally get hyped with TV to celebrate the next edition of NBA 2K, which fill feature the legendary Michael Jordan to celebrate the season that correlates with 2023. The Gents also pay their respects to Kazuki Takahashi (33:35), creator of the manga for the popular Yu-Gi-Oh franchise and what the major impact he contributed to nerd culture. Brining back the attention towards basketball, TV educates EstoBro on the reason why Kevin Durant has not been traded yet (40:50); however, EstoBro believes it is important to discuss the MLB All-Star selection and the midway point of the current season (54:45). The show wraps with the 'Who has the munchies?' segment with EstoBro's discovering a food truck opening in the Tampa Bay area called the Krispy Rooster that had some delicious chicken and waffles (69:10), and southern cooking that will be taking over the area soon. TV believes that Bojangles deserves their respect in the Chicken Sandwich Wars. All this talk about chicken gives the Gents the idea to possibly contribute to the war by making a chicken sandwich of their own...

Stranger Things Season 4, Volume 2 — Episode 96
A supersized group of episodes of “Stranger Things” combined with delays in production due to the pandemic led to season 4 being split into two separate parts with the first seven episodes dropping in May and then the final two debuting in July.
Despite only two episodes remaining in the season, “Stranger Things” packed a lot into these episodes with a nearly four-hour run time that helped reach a conclusion leading into the fifth and final season of the show.
When we left at the end of episode 7, Vecna’s true identity had been revealed along with his connection to Eleven while Nancy got locked in a nightmare vision after paying a visit to the Upside Down looking for answers to the terror that has been haunting Hawkins, Indiana for years.
In the latest episode of Rewind of the Living Dead, we’re going to crank up Master of Puppets and load up on weapons from the WarZone as we discuss “Stranger Things: Season 4, Volume 2”…

It's time we grabbed someone who works with sound every day (yes, I know musicians work with sound but this is different). So, episode 11 sees Ebony chat with a sound engineer! Lachlan Sheehan has been a sound engineer for yonks and toured nationally and internationally with bands, so Ebony called him up to ask what the one metal album he thinks she should listen to is. They're big. They even have metal in their name.

Episode 4 - Master Of Puppets
Clint & Ethan dive into (arguably) the best Metallica album. It's definitely Ethan's favorite. 1986 was THEE year. The record was released, Metallica supported Ozzy for 5 months, Metallica had their first gold record, The Big 4 and Alcoholica were coined, Cliff left us and we got Jason. Even if you weren't a Metallica fan in '86, this was one of the most important years of the band's history. We run through some facts about 'Master Of Puppets," a track by track breakdown...and so much more!
