Gang of Youths – Megastars in realtime
In a handful of years, Gang of Youths have grown from a beloved Sydney band into a global sensation, and arguably Australia’s biggest export playing right now.
Earlier this year, they released angel in realtime, the long-awaited and highly anticipated followup to 2017’s Go Farther In Lightness, which won them basically every award it could at the ARIAs and was one of the best rock records of the decade.
In so many ways, angel in realtime is classic Gang of Youths – full-hearted, open, stadium-sized. But there are also plenty of new sounds and influences bubbling under the surface.
They’re back in Australia on their biggest ever tour, and we’re so excited to welcome bassist Max Dunn to the Tuckshop this week.
