Mitch Benjamin got his dream job after college, working for the TaylorMade golf company in Kansas City, where he met Baseball Hall of Famer, George Brett while also discovering his love of barbecue and honing his outstanding pitmaster skills. There are numerous stories along the way, but eventually all of this lead to Mitch becoming known as Meat Mitch, and that is just the beginning. In addition to his barbecue competition wins, Mitch has wonderful stories to tell of the time he had his food, specifically ribs, devoured by former MLB player, John Kruk as well as cooking for Derek Jeter's retirement celebration.
