Topline Data on SER-109 Efficacy and Safety From the ECOSPOR III Trial
Our guests from Seres Therapeutics shared the latest news on SER-109 and positive topline results from the pivotal Phase 3 ECOSPOR III study evaluating its investigational oral microbiome therapeutic SER-109 for recurrent C. difficile infection (CDI). The study results were equally compelling when characterized by the alternative metric of sustained clinical response, where 88.9% of patients in the SER-109 arm achieved this objective. The study’s efficacy results exceeded the statistical threshold previously provided in consultation with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that could allow this single clinical study to fulfill efficacy requirements for a Biologics License Application (BLA). The SER-109 safety results were favorable, with an adverse event profile comparable to a placebo. Listen in and learn more from the leading topic experts.

S2E14 Athletes Unlimited, the New Game of Volleyball, and the Bald Girls Do Lunch Player's Cause, with Professional Volleyball Player Deja McClendon

Welcome to this episode of Alopecia Life. Today's guest is Deja McClendon, professional volleyball player with Athletes Unlimited, former Penn State player, and from my limited time with her - I can tell she's an all around lovely human. Deja and I discuss volleyball, her alopecia story, and her athlete cause during the month of March supporting the non-profit, Bald Girls Do Lunch. You may hear throughout the interview my excitement as I talk with her about this new way of playing - where players change teams each week, gain points as individuals and as a team, and so much more. The bonus of the athlete cause and female athletics in this league is the icing on the cake. For young or old athletes who've developed alopecia, Deja has some great advice toward the end of the interview.

The Faros - Les Miserables 4 - Jean ValJean Part 2

Join Andrew Williams as he concludes our look at Victor Hugo’s classic story, Les Miserables.

Episode 4: Jean ValJean Part 2 - "To See the Face of God is to Receive the Gift of Self-Giving Love."

The fourth part of this series on Victor Hugo’s - Les Miserables - this extraordinary tale that speaks of our homesickness for God and our ache for mercy and restoration.

Last time we discovered that to see the face of God is to receive the gift of mercy and grace. For Hugo this is the cornerstone upon which everything else is built - but he has more to show us. For Hugo, to see the face of God is also to love another person as God has loved us – mercifully, selflessly and sacrificially. To see the face of God is to receive the gift of self-giving love.

    A Nurse-Eye View of CBD

    A Nurse-Eye View of CBD
Marijuana for medical use has faced more than 80 years of ridicule, unscientific, unregulated, mishandling of the drug and decades of misinformation, myths and unethical management. Boomers have advocated for the legalization of the drug since the 50’s and 60’s, but it has only been since California, Colorado and a handful of other states did legalized medical marijuana, that it is being taken seriously to help with a wide variety of chronic and intractable health issues. My guests, Patty Gilk, RN and founder of Jes Naturals CBD Wellness and Jeri Schultz, MSN, RN and founder of Tulip Tree & Dose Medical Cannabis Nurse Consulting, are joining us today to share their professional knowledge of CBD, dispel myths and reinforce the efficacy of CBD in medical use. They will address Cannabis - Hemp vs Marijuana -Terpenes, Flavonoids, Entourage Effect and SO much more!

Let’s Talk Life, Death and the Space Between with Dr. Amy Robbins - Episode 15

Let’s Talk Life, Death and the Space Between with Dr. Amy Robbins - Episode 15

Meet Dr. Amy Robbins, she is a clinical psychologist, who is also a Spiritual Medium. She is also the host of the podcast, “Life, Death and the Space Between,” where she explores life, death and what it all means.

Amy and Robyn Miller Brecker, intuitive and host of “Seeking with Robyn”, are dear friends who have been on this seeking journey together — and know that their friendship is no coincidence. They have conversations questioning everything all of the time — and are excited to have intuitive and Executive Producer Karen Loenser join them as they dive deeper into Amy’s journey and what she’s learned so far.

They hope their conversation will inspire you to question everything -- and start looking both within and all around you.

Amy shares how the loss of her beloved aunt put her on the path to where she is today—bridging two different worlds…one founded in science — and the other  founded in energy and spirituality. Amy is a rare combination! Her goal is to open people’s minds and souls to live a more connected life.

Over the last several years Amy has talked to renown spiritual teachers, healers and scientists. Even though she does consider herself a Spiritual Medium, Amy still approaches life as a skeptic. As she says, “A skeptics mind is a curious mind and a curious mind is an open mind and it’s through that open mindedness that you get information.”

Robyn invites you to be open-minded and explore what life, death and the space between means to you.

Inside Our Past Life Regressions: Who We Were and Why It Matters Now - Episode 9

Inside Our Past Life Regressions: Who We Were and Why It Matters Now - Episode 9

What is a past life regression? How does it work? What would you experience and see?

“Seeking with Robyn”, Host and Intuitive Robyn Miller Brecker and Executive Producer Karen Loenser share what happened when they had past life regressions with Spiritual Development Life coach, Michelle Brock, who specializes in past life regression.

It was an experience neither of them will ever forget…it changed their lives forever.

They were able to see themselves as they were…an African hunter, a Southern belle, a leader of the Arapaho tribe, a young Buddhist monk and more. They were shown these lives on purpose, to help them in their current lives.

Plus, they reconnected and received messages from deceased loved ones and their Spirit Guides.

The entire experience validated for them that we are not our bodies…we are souls living these different lives, learning and meeting up with our soul family in each lifetime.

And while they saw themselves “die” in different lives, there was no pain — and it took away any fear of death.

As Karen says, If you can recognize the messages from these past life experiences they can open up a whole new level of self understanding and confidence that you are on your path.”

And Robyn emphasizes the lives that she experienced that show us that “we are all one, we are equal.”

If we could all see each other for who we really are and have been, the world would change…for the better.

The Power of Past Life Regression: Remembering Who You Really Are - Episode 8

The Power of Past Life Regression: Remembering Who You Really Are - Episode 8

“Seeking with Robyn”, Host and Intuitive, Robyn Miller Brecker and Executive Producer Karen Loenser sit down with Michelle Brock, a Spiritual development Life coach who specializes in past life regression.

Michelle is also an intuitive counselor, a psychic medium, a master hypnotist, and has studied spirituality, shamanism, meditation, divination, astrology, and energy medicine techniques from many different world traditions.

In this episode, we concentrate on past lives.

You may have heard of the book, “Many Lives, Many Masters” by Dr. Brian Weiss. Dr. Weiss is a pioneer for past-life regression and therapy in our modern times. Michelle was trained by Dr. Weiss.

The idea of reincarnation dates back at least 3,000 years. What is the difference between reincarnation and past lives? How does a past life regression with Michelle work? Does she need to hypnotize you — and what does that really mean? Have you had past lives with people in your current life? What is Karma? What is Déjà vu? Also, your definition of soulmate may change after watching this conversation.

Michelle says, "If people really understood how reincarnation works, there would be world peace, there would be equality."

Why should YOU consider having a past life regression? For so many reasons! And you just may lose your fear of death (if you have one!).
