Welcome to the Horror Project Podcast. Join hosts Laura and Phil as they review Thanksgiving (2023).

We discuss the American holiday Thanksgiving, and our total lack of knowledge surrounding it. Black Friday madness and those scenes of people going crazy for those big retail discounts. Greed, it turns out is pretty bad!!!

We also delve into 'John Carver' as the hottest new killer on the horror scene. A nimble menace whose not afraid to upload his antics to instagram or a live stream.

Plus we shall be finding a place on the leaderboard for the movie during our Ranking.

    Potential Pick - Thanksgiving (2023)

    Potential Pick - Thanksgiving (2023)

Chris and Taylor are back from a nice thanksgiving break with a second helping! Here they review the slasher film, Thanksgiving, directed by Eli Roth, from a screenplay written by Jeff Rendell and a story by Roth and Rendell, who produced with Roger Birnbaum. In the film, an axe-wielding maniac terrorizes residents of Plymouth, Mass., after a Black Friday riot ends in tragedy. Picking off victims one by one, the seemingly random revenge killings soon become part of a larger, sinister plan. The film stars Patrick Dempsey, Addison Rae, Milo Manheim, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Nell Verlaque, Rick Hoffman, and Gina Gershon.

    Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3

This week we watched the finale of the Disney Channel Original Series Z-O-M-B-I-E-S. This iteration of Disney's new "classic" takes on Aliens, and boooooyyyy, do we have questions.
    1) How does one REALLY apply for college?
    2) If you replace a whole teenage girl with a pile of junk metal and a screen, and no one is there see it, will it go unnoticed?
    3) Who has been led to believe that Zombies, werewolves, and Aliens are real based on this Movie?
    4) Is the love story between shrimpy the mascot, and eel, potentially the most important love story in the franchise?
    5) How does. Addison's mom keep that wig so laid?

These questions (maybe the answers as well?) and more, on this episode of Disney Deviants
