Jesus: Hanaya, how far will you go?

Jesus: Hanaya, how far will you go?

Listen to Jesus preparing Hanaya's heart for selfless missions in an attention-wanting self-seeking world. He is calling the next generation of believers to pay the price to complete the mission of taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

This clip was inspired by the title of the book 'Live to be Forgotten' by Patrick Fung (Former GD, OMF International). I haven't read the book but the phrase 'Live to be Forgotten' hits you hard in a time where there is so much love of self, even among the believers in Christ.

Will we go where He wants us to go?

My concern is that scripture has told us clearly that we are all to be going, and the reason the Lord left us behind is to do the job he told us to do. So we’d better get equipped to do it, instead of living this life as if this life is it. It’s not, this is a very short life. And eternal life is forever. We’re going to feel stupid for eternity if we wasted this one. — Jackie Pullinger

Even though in the very last days of history, the love of many will grow cold, there will be a people who have white-hot, not cold, love for Jesus in the face of hatred, persecution, and killing. The Great Commission will be completed by them. The price will be very high. Not so high that it is not worth it. It will not happen without the price of opposition and suffering. In fact, the price is not just the result but the strategy of the purpose.  — John Piper

Mixtan Srisombat - Creating original worship music in Thai

Mixtan Srisombat - Creating original worship music in Thai

Mixtan Srisombat shares his journey from a Buddhist that didn't like Christians to working in full-time music ministry in Bangkok Thailand, where he creates and records original worship music in the Thai language.

Music is the key to how so many people worship and connect with God and it's hard to get the true meaning and depth, when a song was written in one language and translated to another, as opposed to being written in your heart language.

Aaron Jennings- The Story of Watch Missions Live

Aaron Jennings- The Story of Watch Missions Live

Aaron Jennings and his wife Andrea quit their jobs, sold their houses, got married and left the country as full time missionaries.

They spent a month at an orphanage in Kitale Kenya, lived in a bamboo hut in south Thailand not raising funds for anything and God provided everything they needed . We weren’t starving and sacrificing the perceived American Dream to submit to God’s call!

Over time realizing they had all these awesome stories, and Godcidence (God + Coincidence = Godcidence) we wanted to tell people but the only people hearing them were immediate family and a few people they met along the way.

Then he started to realize a lot of the people were interested but would listen from a distance and try not to be to involved.

Come to find out, it was because we were missionaries and a lot of missionaries raise money to do what they do. So if they got to involved in our conversation and lives, they were afraid we would ask for money and they would feel bad about not giving.

As a missionary, you experience so many amazing things as God provides and all you want to do is tell the world how Awesome God is but your reach only goes so far because there’s an invisible financial barrier between God’s miracles and the world.

So how do we extend our reach?

Fast forward 7 years...Aaron is a systems and strategy coach leveraging technology to make money from anywhere in the world so he can remain free to move as God calls.

Aaron believes God has given him the skills to do this and if we don’t use our God given skills and resources to the max, we will lose them.
