Avatar Orchestra Metaverse live at the Opera Populaire, Tempesta Nox, SL. October 6, 2007 Composition by Miulew Takahe (Björn Eriksson. Orchestral Investigations is an ongoing series of orchestral investigations of Second Life by the Avatar Orchestra Metaverse. These take place as site-specific investigations where the orchestra reaches out for a new setting and audience, and where the venue and orchestra add up to make this a very special happening. Some of these events are also part of mixed reality presentations of Avatar Orchestra Metaverse and screened RL.

This is the sounds and music I did for the Troll installation/build by Kid Kuhn (aka Åsa Rosenberg in RL http://www.cyberkid.se ). The installation was made for the Burning Life events in Second Life and was open during late september to beginning of october. The sound is made up from processed piano melodies that are repeated randomly from 10 different sound spheres in the palm of the gigantic troll. The recording is made on 30th september some days before it is taken down. This is the 4th runthrough of this piece and it looks like every runthrough come up a bit different. We're getting to know the different passages by now and I think this piece has developed very nicely. This runthrough shows a very nice passage at 8.00 something where some really nice harmonics were playing together. The first official performance of this piece is getting nearer - 12th of may. This time we also rehearsed at the virtual Haidplatz (Regensburg/Germany) which also means some other background sounds. There were nine avatars in the orchestra this time. So nice!

This is the third running of Rue Blanche score, this now only as an AOM duo with BlaiseDeLaFrance Voom and Miulew Takahe. This was also on same rehearsal occasion, but after midnight central european time, so this took place on 25th of april according to europeans.

This is the second runthrough with score Rue Blanche. This time with a little fewer players and also some directing to start piece with more bass tones in beginning. Six players in total. Also played on the 24th of april 2007 in Netherbeck but now at ground level.
