Stephanie Olson Episode 2 – Forgiveness to Free Your Life

Stephanie Olson progresses her first episode with the next step of restoring her life. She acknowledges having held bitterness in her life for some time, and she first felt God speaking to her to seek forgiveness for her anger first with Him. His forgiveness equipped and empowered her to forgive those who had previously offended her. Stephanie acknowledges this forgiveness was a journey of perseverance. However, having achieved forgiveness, she realizes, expresses, and passes forward the total freedom she now has. She also acknowledges her mother was the rock of her life, whom she credits for understanding and living His value in her life.

The One Episode I Didn't Want to Record

The One Episode I Didn't Want to Record

Today's podcast episode is going to be quite personal. It isn't a topic I am eager to talk about but a subject we should address.

Since the beginning of this year, I've met quite a few women who shared with me their personal stories I could relate to. Although it surprised me at first, it also made me aware that many women were molested or have a similar experience.

Since talking about the hard stuff isn't taboo on my platform, I find it important to address this issue. It's common for us to stay quiet since we feel shame or guilt for not doing or saying anything.

And what is the most nurturing place for shame, my friend?

Silence! So we might as well talk about it in order to break it.

Before I move to a few points I will cover in today's episode, feel free to email me at contact@couragewithinyou.com for any reasons regarding this episode.

    Here is what I cover:

    - what this experience represented for me and what scared me the most

    - why we choose to live in denial and how it impacts our self-esteem, relationships, and overall mental health

    - how to step out from denial, stop beating ourselves down, and face what happened even when it's difficult

    - how to begin healing by cultivating self-forgiveness and breaking shame by speaking up

    - the main goal of this episode and two things I am hoping you will get from it in order to heal

"I am going to be a boy, it will keep me safe"

"I am going to be a boy, it will keep me safe"

Dr. Erin Brewer developed a trans identity after being molested in first grade. She did everything she could to be a boy. In her mind, she *was* a boy. But instead of enabling this delusion, Erin's mother eventually sent her to a therapist, and she received proper care to manage her gender confused feelings. She eventually accepted her gender, but continued running away from God.

She became a star on the most popular pornography site in the world, making the top 20 most popular amateur performers, with over 10.8 million views and more than 400 videos. She was saved from pornography when she accepted Jesus as her Savior. She deleted all of her videos and is now speaking out about the dangers of gender ideology and porn. She openly shares her deeply personal story to help others understand the damage that is being done to our children by the transgender movement. Erin earned her bachelors degree from Hampshire College, and her Doctorate in Instructional Technology and Learning Science from Utah State University.

This is an audio podcast of The Dr J Show. Full video episode is available here.
