Destined to Remember- Reliving Pearl Jam's 2023 Tour: Music, Memories, and a Pandemic

Destined to Remember- Reliving Pearl Jam's 2023 Tour: Music, Memories, and a Pandemic

As someone who's followed Pearl Jam right from their early days, Randy and I found ourselves on a trip down memory lane, reliving the electrifying 2023 tour. We swapped stories about the thrill of bootlegs, the post-tour blues, and the distinct joy of being part of the traveling fanbase. Reminiscing about the rollercoaster ride of the tour, we couldn't help but discuss how the pandemic colored this experience and what this spells for our future concert trips.

Imagine our surprise when we heard 'Marker in the Sand' - a song that hadn't been played in 86 shows! We jumped into a deep exploration of how the song's dynamics create an almost sacred chorus and the homage it pays to the band's storied history and devoted fans. For us, a Pearl Jam concert has the warmth of a family reunion, and we're looking forward to being part of this musical journey once again. Join us, as we dissect cherished songs and plan for future concerts in the shadow of a global pandemic. So, if you're a fan of Pearl Jam or just love the ins and outs of the music world, tune in to our episode now and let's keep the conversation going!

    Boundaries For Our Dogs

    What to listen for:

“I don’t randomly run up to people’s kids and start hugging their kids. Why are you doing it to my dog?”

Listen in as our hosts Robin Greubel, Stacy Barnett, and Crystal Wing share how to successfully set and maintain boundaries with our dogs. From blocking off dedicated training time to the importance of managing our dogs' arousal levels to prevent unwanted behaviors, they explore the significance of setting boundaries in different contexts - at home, outdoors, and with (or often, against) people.

Join in as they discuss how to safely introduce dogs to new people and other dogs, and how to handle people who may not understand the correct way to interact with dogs. Safety is a priority and they share tips on how to protect our dogs from unexpected interactions with other people and their pets. They also touch on the importance of being hyper-vigilant when in crowded areas.

Tune in as the Dames of Detection explore the importance of trust in dog handling, from safely handing over your leash to someone else, to understanding an instructor's style before starting training. They also cover how to handle demand barkers and how to give your dog a job.

    Forecast Musing for 2023

    Forecast Musing for 2023

In this first solo episode for the year, I thought it would be interesting to chat about what 2023 potentially has in store for us!
Chatting about the energy forecast for this year, including our first eclipse portal and the massive changes it will bring to humanity.
2023 is a numerology 7-year - which will be a very spiritual influencing year. It is the energy of the Hermit, the Sage and Ancient Wisdom coming online.

    I also muse about:

    •  Pluto and his influence over this year (and the next 20!)
    • Aquarius and the HUGE advancements of technology we are going to see, and how this will play out in the two timelines/dimensional realities.
    • Superpowers and how this is coming into play - on the lower and higher timelines.
    • How we truly are beings of Light, and the best ways to help raise our vibration, and prepare our physical body to carry this Light.
    • The financial system, and the impact this will have on the different worlds moving forward.
    • Mu, Leumaria, Atalatis and the ancient wisdom coming back online from our true ancestral heritage.
    • The Solar Flares that are currently impacting us and the Earth. What this means, and how to work with these influxes of immense energies to help us create the New Heaven on Earth of 5D.

The song I mention was 'Savage Daughter' by Sarah Hester Ross.
Listen Here on Spotify, and see if you can find the lyrics I mentioned.

If you are interested in trying delicious organic wildcrafted herbal teas made by a Mother Daughter Duo, then check out 'Tea and Grace' here.

Happy 2023, and may this be our most magical and beautiful year yet.
The year we align truly with our Cosmic and Earthly roots, and be co-creators of the new book Earth is writing. I feel it is going to be an epic page turner! ;)

Episode 80 - Mental Health Accessibility For Minorities

Episode 80 - Mental Health Accessibility For Minorities

On today's episode of Yours Mentally we talk about mental health accessibility for minorities in India. This episode is in conversation with Dr Shruti Chakravarty who is a therapist and the chief advisor at Mariwala Health Initiative.

    TW: Mention of suicide

We begin the episode by asking Shruti that people often say that “mental health is a privilege. What is your opinion on that?
We then ask if a campaign conducted for the welfare of marginalised communities generally include a mental health check-up? Why or why not?
We also ask if there are certain mental health illnesses that are more prevalent in marginalised communities? Which ones and why?
We talk about what kinds of systemic barriers and problems does Mariwala as an organisation face while advocating for mental healthcare for people below the poverty line?
We then discuss how has Mariwala made mental healthcare more accessible for marginalised communities and how it has contributed to raising the stigma around mental health.
We ask Shruti what can we as privileged people do to aid mental healthcare for the marginalised communities?
We also talk about how has Mariwala Health Initiative helped the LGBTQIA+ community specifically?
Lastly, we ask, what is Mariwala’s vision for the next few years? What change do they hope to bring?

This episode is in collaboration with Mariwala Health Initiative.
