    Episode #135 - Escape From Beyond - Part 1

    Episode #135 - Escape From Beyond - Part 1

This week marks the release of "Escape from Beyond," the second single from Night Demon's new album, Outsider, due on March 17, 2023. In honor of this occasion, we dive deep into "Escape from Beyond."  You'll hear the perspectives of Armand, Jarvis and Dusty on the song, including why they believed it needed to be a single and why it was chosen as the second single. The guys talk about unplanned synchronicities between the single cover art and the album cover art.  We also dig into isolated guitar, bass and drum tracks, and dissect each band member's parts from their own point of view.  Finally, you will learn how the video came to be and how the band conceptualized and executed it.

    05. Alltaf sama platan - Highway To Hell (Ómar Úlfur, Soffía Hrönn & Óli Palli)

EP 10. A New Golden Country Great: Orville Peck

EP 10. A New Golden Country Great: Orville Peck

With a definition as wide as the Montana sky and featuring tales as tall as Kentucky bluegrass, Country music is as American as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Over the past several years, Keith has dipped his toe in the proverbial water of those stylings we reckon as Country music. Now, a gluttonous alligator stalks him, ready to latch onto that toe and drag him deep into the bog that represents said musical compositions in this arcane metaphor. Steve isn't that into it.

Join our intrepid musical explorers as they mangle another genre of music in their never-ending quest to leave Dad Rock behind. Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Ween, and some guy named Aldean are the colors that paint a sunset over the Great Smoky Mountains. In the foreground is a masked cowboy, a mysterious rising star that goes by Orville Peck.

If you've made it this far, you may as well enjoy these fine musical selections:
"Six Feet Apart" by Luke Combs
"Long Arm of the Law" by Kenny Rogers
    "Rearview Town" by Jason Aldean
"A Horse With No Name" by America
    "Blue Tacoma" by Russell Dickerson
    "Love Bites" by Def Leppard
"Picture to Burn" by Taylor Swift
    "Pretty Girl" by Ween
"What Makes You Country" by Luke Bryan
"Beer Never Broke My Heart" by Luke Bryan
"Queen of the Rodeo" by Orville Peck
"No Glory in the West" by Orville Peck
"Mexican Roulette" by The Flaming Stars
"Always on My Mind" by Willie Nelson

Limited Appeal - Here Comes the Bowser

Limited Appeal - Here Comes the Bowser
In Music and Music and Music related things, T-Bone reveals that the sound of almost all classic radio jingles came from a single studio. This means that you're guaranteed to have been annoyed by the same small group of (apparently rich) Texans as everyone else who suffered through commercial morning radio. Thanks, Texas! Fuckers. Somehow, with little by way of segue, this leads us to a discussion on marriage. I don't remember how, and you shouldn't care. The point is that Warren defends a rather liberal and inclusive definition of marriage that includes all kinds of inter-species pairings, and one can only guess on whether he has a personal interest. My guess: he does. Take that, smart-comeback guy! Anyway, to wrap up the show, John's dog is either up to all kinds of obscene things, or is perhaps very warm. You figure it out. If you enjoy T-Bone's silky voice and want him to produce some jingles for you for less than $10000, send us an email (maskedman@limitedappeal.net). Theme music courtesy of Mugison and
