    Does God Repent?

    Does God Repent?
The beauty of God’s creation is devastated by man and his sin. What does it mean that God was sorry or repented that he had made man? How is this idea foundational to the Gospel we preach? God’s eternality and personhood. The comforting of God.

The God Who Is - Audio

The God Who Is - Audio
In this sermon for the First Sunday after Pentecost: Trinity Sunday, Pastor Chris explores the doctrine of the Trinity. In this sermon he first looks at the picture of God painted at the Old Testament, noting that God reveals himself to be complex. He then looks at how Jesus and God are revealed in the gospels, and then finally how the later New Testament authors talk about Jesus, is Father, and the Holy Spirit. All together, a complex view of God emerges that the early Christians began to refer to as the Holy Trinity.

How to Develop Intimacy With God

How to Develop Intimacy With God

In this episode Cam and Stephanie Harris talk about how to develop intimacy with God.  Beginning in Genesis they show the intimacy of God with Adam and Eve and how they experienced the fullness of God in perfection.  The nature and character of God is shown in how many different people in the Bible experienced God as He revealed Himself to him.

They answer the question of what new mindset do we need to develop in order to have greater intimacy?

Cam and Stephanie discuss how our deeper intimacy can change our lives here and now and how the Restoring Eden Series will be launching in November, watch the website at warriornations.ca for the opportunity to register.

Colossians 1:15-18: Jesus is preeminent over all things

Colossians 1:15-18: Jesus is preeminent over all things

    notes
    Genesis 48
    John 1:1-3

This is an important study from Paul, where he describes the deity and preeminence of Christ. In this podcast, we also spend time talking about how to study the Scripture in order to get a full view of the person of Christ, rather than a partial view, which can lead to a misunderstanding of who He truly is. The cults make the mistake of only studying small sections of Scripture (and, at times even add to or subtract from the Scriptures) therefore end up with a different, and lesser view of who Jesus is. So, we want to address this, and make sure that as believers we build our theology on a whole view of the Scripture.

    The Person of Christ

    The Person of Christ

People stare at beauty in art or nature for hours without giving a thought to, “what I’m getting out of this.” How much more ought we be able to stare at the beauty, majesty, grace and goodness of Christ, without giving a second thought to how He serves my well-being. Join us as we consider this in Part 7 of the series, "Theological Bootcamp"
