Suck your tum in, all day? What you need to know...

Suck your tum in, all day? What you need to know...

In today's episode we take a quick, but important deep dive into why its important to let your tummy go!

So many women hold their tummy and abdominal wall in tight all day, every day. This can be due to a number of reasons including:

    • Body image issues
    • A history of scarring or abdominal/ pelvic surgery
    • Stress and anxiety
    • Poor cueing from coaches and family to 'suck in and stand tall'.

This effect of this habit can be significant over a prolonged period of time. Creating tension and overactivity in one area of body ultimately leads to other areas having to compensate.

So, let's see if you are one of these women who needs to learn to let it go!

And if you are, you might like this free guide on learning to let go and restoring the correct movement pattern. Just head to www.FitFannyAdams.com/breathe .

I hope you enjoy and please, please, please, do take a moment to rate and review - thank you so much, it really does make such a big difference!

    7 - Navel Oranges

    7 - Navel Oranges

We talk about the most well known citrus, the orange! Among other things, we get into its origins in Asia, to its inflated reputation of a vitamin C powerhouse, to how ill advised it is to eat random park fruit.

We'd love it if you wrote a review! Tell a friend too, I hear your friend loves oranges.

    Pulp Non-Fiction (Oranges)

    Pulp Non-Fiction (Oranges)
Peel away the skin, take that gross white stuff off, section it up and extract the seeds and what you've got left is our long awaited (and dreaded) episode on oranges! Bite into the story of LA's mythological cash crop all the way from the first orange tree to come to the city (9:10) all the way through the rise of a little local business known as Sunkist (41:47). Some sugar added.

Navy Chaplain and the San Diego Wildfires

Navy Chaplain and the San Diego Wildfires

Navel Chaplain Joel Newman is set to retire from his post at the Coronado Navel Base, in Southern California.  His last days as a non-combat Navel officer are busy ones because of the wildfires that have been burning throughout San Diego County.

Patriot-Made Audiocast caught up with Rabbi Newman and we were fortunate to be able to spend some time with him on SKYPE.
