Corey McCormick (Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real)

Corey McCormick (Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real)

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We are so incredibly psyched to present the one and only Corey McCormick for this episode. Corey has been playing bass in Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real since 2010, and has also played with Chris Cornell, Koshi Inaba, Neil Young and Willie Nelson. With a career that has now spanned over two decades, Corey, who is also a father of two young boys, has literally done it all -- and is extremely grateful for the amazing experiences he has encountered in his life as a touring musician. His dedication is also extraordinary; Corey studied Music Performance at Long Beach State before embarking on his journey and continues to work extremely hard at his craft. Family life is also important to Corey -- while having spent years on the road, he is now also focused on the broader picture of what it all means. Energetic and introspective, Corey is a model of focus and dedication, and knows what it takes to continue to succeed both personally and professionally in his chosen life. His side project, Organa, provides Corey with an outlet for his multi-varied musical interests, and this funk, rock and soul trio is exciting and fresh. Check out Organa's new single, "Demons & Devils," on all the streaming platforms.  And hop aboard the Roadcase Bus to learn even more about Corey McCormick -- the musician, Dad, and all-around cool dude. It's gonna be a great ride!

Some of the most fun I’ve had doing this show!

    Episode 43 - Much Ado About N(eilYoung)othing

Episode 43 challenges the narratives of a polarizing American body politic by offering a more reasonable, moderate view on a debate topic that shouldn't have to result in an "Us or Them" answer: Who's right between Neil Young and Joe Rogan? Dane also shares a few reflections on recently meeting so many professional fighters from all corners of the globe. (Hehe, the globe doesn't actually have corners.)
