'Wednesday Warmers' - Pablo Neruda's celestial socks ...

An episode of just over 5 mins, and the first in the Wednesday Warmers series inspired by reading Pablo Neruda's poem today 'Ode to My Socks'.

A beautiful poem celebrating the gift of a pair of hand-knitted socks.

There's extra poignancy in the warmth, love, comfort and kindness shown with the gift, and in the joy in receiving too, when considering Neruda's history of exile and writing in many turbulent times... and it's also so gently humorous too x

    • A little bit at the beginning and then the poem begins at 2 mins 45 secs

    • 'Ode to My Socks' by Pablo Neruda (translated from the Spanish by Margaret Sayers Peden)

Donnerstag durchgeführten do trans-Art Serie.

    Connections Across Centuries

    Connections Across Centuries

Relationships are how we understand the past and bring it into our future. In episode three, travel over one hundred and fifty years of musical relationships between composers. How have the greats, Mozart and Haydn, inspired the more modern composers Stravinsky and Prokofiev? The heart of the music is always in our relationships, and the artists who join this episode talk about the connections between composers and amongst themselves.

Ep. 48: Golgappa with Anish Vyavahare

This week Trupti is joined by Anish Vyavahare, a poet. They bond over their love for Maharashtrian food. He recites his poems, describes his journey to Gokarna, talks about his artistic journey and reveals some very insightful confessions as a poet!
