The fight continues between the state of Texas and the federal government over the border. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) said the state will keep using razor wire along the border, even if the federal government keeps cutting it down. This goes against a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court.

It's been wild the last few days with the weather in North Texas. Last week, there were days when the temperature dropped below freezing. Weather can impact everyone, but it's especially tough for the homeless and for other people who just don't get enough to eat daily. Jeff Smith joined Monday's Ask the Expert. He is the senior manager of communications at North Texas Food Bank.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advised Tuesday that children 6 months and older receive at least one dose of the new FDA-approved COVID-19 booster. He knows parents might have some questions in light of this new advisory. He spoke with Kristin Diaz and David Rancken about the pros and cons of the latest booster.

It's something that affects just about everyone, especially those of us that don't drive a Tesla or other electric cars.

We are still paying around $3.50 a gallon for gasoline around North Texas. A Shell station in Uptown Dallas even had a price listed at $4.60 per gallon Wednesday.
