Together, Andy Hodgson and Rosalind Chaston are 'Atlantic Escapade'. They are rowing over 3,000 miles in aid of the RNLI and the Blue Marine Foundation from Gran Canaria to Barbados.
Andy was the first person to ever row solo around Britain, and Rosalind is a keen ocean swimmer, rugby player and rock climber!

The team of four—Christal Clashing, Elvira Bell, Kevinia Francis and Samara Emmanuel—will compete in the inaugural Pacific Challenge in 2023. Atlantic Campaigns, the official race organizers of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, is also organizing this initiative. The Pacific Challenge is a 2,800 nautical mile race from Monterey Bay in California to Nawiliwili Harbor in Kauai, Hawaii. The challenge begins on June 12, 2023.
Team Antigua Island Girls launched their Pacific2023 campaign at a press conference on January 24, 2021, at the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association’s Headquarters at Paynters, with the tagline Back on the Row Again.Team Antigua Island Girls acknowledged that, much like their first, history-making row in the 2018-19 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, reaching the start line is its own journey. Fundraising activities are ramping up, and the team has begun the training—both physical and mental—as they learned from their freshman experience that it takes more mental strength than brawn to get to the finish line.

Mark Agnew (28) is a Scottish ultrarunner, ocean rower, climber, adventurer and sports journalist living in Hong Kong. He's writes for the South China Morning Post with an emphasis on extreme sports and mountain ultra trail running.
Mark was on a panel discussion in episode 493 of Trail Runner Nation. When I heard him talk about the amazing trail running scene in Hong Kong and China I immediately contacted him to get him on the NEDA Podcast.
Apart from running long distances Mark also enjoys rowing long distances. He has attempted to row across the Atlantic twice(!) and is now planning to be the first to complete the Northwest Passage, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans through the Arctic Ocean.
