The advantage of each method is that it gives the individual various options no matter what season of life they are in or their busy schedule. You're not limited to only one, you can do a combination of these that best suits your weekly routine.

    Alvin Miranda "38 Lbs. in 7 Weeks"

    Alvin Miranda decided to take control of his health at 57 years old and after being a diabetic for 17 years.

    He started by reducing his sugar and carb intake and lost 38 pounds in just 7 weeks.

    As a result, he is no longer a Type 2 diabetic and no longer takes medication for high blood pressure and cholesterol.

    Alvin follows the one meal a day (OMAD) approach to eating, which involves consuming all of his daily calories in just one meal.

    He shares that he has lots of energy and feels and looks younger since making these lifestyle changes.

    The podcast discusses the benefits of low-carb and ketogenic diets for weight loss and overall health.

    Dieses Jahr hatten wir wohl nicht den schönsten Sommer aller Zeiten, aber es gab genug sonnige Tage um rauszugehen und die Zeit mit FreundInnen zu genießen.

    Ich hab diesen Sommer definitiv in vollen Zügen genossen und mir einiges gegönnt. Die Krönung fand in Finnland, in einem fast dreiwöchigen Urlaub auf Rädern statt.

    Mit einem Van, haben wir das ganze Land bereist und haben uns kulinarisch einiges gegönnt. Weizen, Zucker und Alkohol? Ja, war alles dabei!

    Und die Mahlzeitenfrequenz? Naja, es ist zwar nicht ausgeartet, aber bei zwei Mahlzeiten blieb es oft nicht und Snacks waren auch "erlaubt" 🙂

    Deshalb ist in mir das Bedürfnis hochgekommen, im September eine kleine Challenge zu machen. Ich entschied mich dazu einen ganzen Monat OMAD zu machen. Das bedeutet “One meal a day”. Also nur eine Mahlzeit pro Tag. Mit einer weiteren Limitation von maximal 1500 Kalorien.

    War das leicht? Oder eine Qual?
