Join McGraw Hill Marketing Manager Erin Martin and Wes Rogers of Georgia Gwinnett College as they discuss how Wes uses Connect Master: Why Biology? to increase engagement and scientific literacy in his Non-Majors Biology course.  Utilizing units that start with a relevant theme and then thread in biological concepts allows him to break away from traditional approach that presents the biology first and then introduces relevancy.  Wes also talks about how he uses Virtual Labs not only as a lab replacement in an online environment but also as a learning resource to offer students a “hand-on” experience that is often difficult to achieve in a digital environment.  Wes offers best practices and advice to new and existing users of Connect Master: Why Biology? and Virtual Labs.
