Steve Adams joins Darragh McDonald to discuss the Angelos family selling the Orioles and how it could affect the franchise moving forward, how the Corbin Burnes trade  impacts both the Orioles and Brewers, and the details of the Bobby Witt Jr. extension.

It's considered by many fans to be one of the worst baseball trades ever made, or the best trade ever, depending upon your point of view. Frank Robinson won an MVP award for the Cincinnati Reds, then made an immediate impact with his new team, the Baltimore Orioles.

MLBTR founder Tim Dierkes joins host Darragh McDonald to discuss Sonny Gray's new contract with the Cardinals and the risks of having a rotation filled with old veterans. Also, Kenta Maeda signing with the Tigers for less money than expected.

MLB closer Josh Hader signed for $40,000 after being chosen in the 18th round of 2012 MLB Draft out of high school. 10-plus years, seven big league seasons and three trades later, the lefty has been on the last five NL All-Star teams,  he is MLB's all-time leader in strikeouts per nine innings with 15.0, as well as batting average against at .156. "Haderade" and show host Matt Stucko go way back to Hader's days in the minors and Stucko covering top prospects. While Hader was never a highly-touted prospect, the two hit it off when they met in Lakewood, NJ during Hader's Single-A days and they kept in touch supporting each other every step of the way to their current day success. Hader hops onto the show to talk about his career, off-field ventures and more with Stucko on this episode of Keep Swinging.

Anthony Franco joins Darragh McDonald to discuss the likelihood of the Padres trading Juan Soto with reports saying that the team is looking to cut payroll next season, Giants' president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi and new manager Bob Melvin both sign new contracts to be with the team for three seasons and the Red Sox hire former pitcher Craig Breslow to be their front office boss. 

Listener question topics include whether Ohtani will sign early or late into the offseason, who could trade with the Twins for Jorge Polanco and Max Kepler and what are realistic free agent pitching targets for the Orioles. 

We thought the amazing double play turned in by Atlanta's Michael Harris to Austin Riley to Matt Olson would propel the Braves into the NLCS.  Nick Castellanos had other ideas.  That combined with great pitching from Wheeler, Nola and the Phillies bullpen put them back into the NLCS vs. the equally surprising D'Backs.

The Astros keep marching on and the Rangers can flat out bludgeon teams and pitch better than people think.
