    Theresa Edward: The Skin Alchemist
    In this episode I'm joined by Theresa Edward, the wonderful founder of skin/body brand Skin Alchemists.
    Theresa has the most wonderful story that begins on the Island of St Lucia where her Aunty was one of three herbalists who saw to the medical needs of many of the islanders. Theresa watched and learnt and became passionate about the wonderful ingredients that the island provided.
    Years down the line and suffering from stress and the effects of living in London, Theresa returned to the island and within weeks was feeling so much better. From that moment she started to formulate the idea for her brand which would contain lots of botanical ingredients from farms on St Lucia and would include many of the experiences and learnings from the island.
    Skin Alchemists was born!

    Rachel Khoo: My Beauty Habits
    In this episode of #MyBeautyHabits I'm joined by the brilliant cook, writer and broadcaster Rachel Khoo.

    In 2006, Rachel, who loves an adventure, gave up a job in PR, moved to Paris (with no knowledge of French) and did a patisserie course at Le Cordon Bleu. Fast forward a few years and she had forged an incredibly exciting career with her own cookery show called The Little Paris Kitchen, and a number of published books.

    Fast forward to now and Rachel is living in Sweden and has just made a new series from her Mum-in-law's kitchen whilst in lockdown. (I honestly don't know how she did it!). In this episode we talk about her career, the challenges of making her own TV show from home and of course all about her beauty habits. Rachel is a lipstick lover and is fascinated with skincare. There are loads of fab recommendations :0)

Do we wear makeup because it is an expectation that has been set by the patriachy? What exactly is beauty? How much power do we actually have to look how we truly want to?
    Florence challenges social expectations of beauty and definitely made me revaluate a few things. This is a fascinating episode with a woman who isn't afraid to be truly outspoken.
