    Heaven & Hell

    Heaven & Hell

Hell and heaven have taken a backseat. Distorted notions of God's love have eradicated hell and our affluent, comfortable and convenient society have made heaven only marginally better than what we have now. It's time to rediscover the biblical teaching on eternity. Let's unpack this together in Part 10 of the series, "Theological Bootcamp."

    Text: 2 Thessalonians 1:3-10; Revelation 21:1-4

Famous Last Words Part 2: Paradise

Famous Last Words Part 2: Paradise

What is heaven? How will we get to heaven? What will it be like? In this message, Pastor Jamie Nunnally shares biblical answers to these questions and more.

Last words tell us so much about a person. The last words of Jesus reveal the heart of Jesus and show us what was important to Him. While on the cross, Jesus told a criminal on an adjacent cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise.” Jesus wanted the man to know where he was going when he died. It is important for you to know where you will go when you died. What we learn about heaven from scripture gives us an amazing picture of what believers can look forward to.

Will you be with Jesus in paradise?

Her Tits are Not Overbearing: Bachelor Preview!

Her Tits are Not Overbearing: Bachelor Preview!

Jenn, Sam, Tubes, and Jay break down the Bachelor ladies in this very very late Bachelor preview. To be fair to us, it was early when we recorded it and decided to save it for a more relevant time, but maybe now it's too relevant.

Come listen to Tubes horribly mispronounce all of their names as well as ridiculous judgments about their personality based on literally nothing at all.

Episode #32: Islam and its Place in the West

Episode #32: Islam and its Place in the West

In this second episode of a three part series on the Western religions, Josh and Ian give a detailed look into the history, spirituality, and law within Islam. They begin by going into a detailed history of the Prophet Muhammad and the life he led to the formulation of Islam. Then they take a route into the spiritual realm, and give an account for what happens to the Muslim soul after death, the origin of the 72 Virgins after arriving in paradise, and finally take a look at Muhammad's child bride, Aisha. They move into talk about the 5 Pillars of Islam, Islamic and Sharia law, and look into the two largest denominations of Islam; including a look into the controversial terrorist militant group the Islamic State.

In the second half of the episode, the gents take a look at the 1993 essay in The Atlantic titled: Islam and Liberal Democracy. This essay fuels the rest of the conversation on how Islam often comes into conflict with the West and liberal values, and whether or not Islamophobia is a real concern.
