With the cooler temperatures arriving, the speckled trout are falling into the winter patterns and are filling up the tidal rivers and tributaries around Mobile Bay. This week we're talking to Jordan Gooding with G2 Coastal who is giving us the Alabama Fishing report all the way from the Flora Bama to Fort Morgan. Pompano have been showing up in the surf when the conditions are favorable, whiting have been abundant and this is a great time of year to capitalize on that whiting bite.

Patric Garmeson have what you need to know to catch more speckled trout, redfish, and tripletail and how to catch each of these species in the area. The tactics and tips we discuss here each week can be applied to many areas when fishing Alabama's coast and other states along the Gulf of Mexico. This week the captains talked about winter time trout fishing in the tidal rivers and the delta in the lower Alabama area. “Salty Swiggs” introduces himself to the show and talks to us about targeting speckled trout on artificial lures and the technicalities of fishing that can lead to more catches. He broke down a tournament in the recent area and gave his viewpoint on how they did as well as what they could have done better, they caught lots of fish but hindsight is always 20/20. Capt. Patric from “Ugly Fishing Charters” started his report by detailing his upcoming tournament “The Winter Classic.” From there he told us the specks can be found mid-column as our winter time water temps creep into the 60s and he broke down the Slick Jr. while detailing his success in the B.O.G. tournament.

Patric Young played Basketball for the Gators from 2010-2014.  During that time he was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year, 2nd player in UF history to play in 150 games and was the SEC's first 3x winner of the Scholar Athlete of the Year.
