In this mythic episode of Sorry, We Tried, we're continuing with our lunacy-inducing DCEU revisit. This time, it's a double-feature, as we watched both Suicide Squad (2016) and Wonder Woman! There is a LOT to cover, as Suicide Squad had a cursed production that looked very similar to what happened to Zack Snyder with his Justice League movie. The gritty military/crime flick faced everything from rushed rewrites, baffling edits, and... Jared Leto's insane method acting? Basically, nothing went right with this one. On the other hand, Wonder Woman was pretty solid. So at least the experience wasn't all bad!
Also in this episode, Harrison keeps sneakily pressing the record button. Robby drops a hot take about the #releasetheayercut campaign. Spencer finds an excuse to talk about Morbius again. And the guys lose it after hearing about Jared Leto's pig-throwing henchman.

The post WW84 (Wonder Woman 1984) first appeared on The Good, The Bad & The Geeky 3.0.A special Wednesday edition of The Direct Podcast ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home. We review episode 4 of Hawkeye, talk about the future of the Black Panther franchise, speculate about The Batman, and sit down with actress Molly Quinn.

With rumors of a rewrite amidst the Letitia Wright controversy, what does this mean for the future of the franchise and the Shuri character? Also, The Batman is reportedly testing two different versions of the film in early screenings. One may or may not feature a big-name actor who may or may not be playing a big-name character.
Next, we dive into Episode 5 of Hawkeye. The penultimate is here to set up a finale with a wide variety of plot lines heading toward the same point. With only one week left, where is Hawkeye going to leave this cast of characters?
We then sit down with actress Molly Quinn!
