Zack Wheeler met the media after signing a huge extension with the Phillies. In the final segment of the hour, what will Jason Kelce do in his retirement? Will he be a studio analyst during the NFL season? Maybe he would be good as a color analyst.

    Boomer watched the movie ‘Saltburn’ and found it really twisted and weird. The Mets will be debuting a dance team this year. When will the Mets highlight the dance team?     The Jets continue to be a story for all the wrong reasons during the offseason. Mecole Hardman was accused of leaking the Jets game plan to the Eagles and the Chiefs this past season. Rob Saleh was also voted in the bottom third of head coaches in the league by his players. Boomer said Hardman should be happy the Jets sent him back to KC. He shouldn’t be trashing them a month after the Super Bowl. Is there anything the Jets can do in the offseason to make us feel positive about this upcoming season? The Jets will probably end up with David Bakhtiari if Aaron Rodgers wants him here. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with Joe Douglas giving Zach Wilson permission to talk to other teams. Boomer thinks he’s going to Minnesota. Chris Russo has a hard time saying, ‘Caleb Williams’. Chiefsaholic has pleaded guilty to his bank robberies. Jerry went around the NBA last night. St. John’s won their third straight. Pete Alonso hit his first HR of Spring. In the last segment of the hour, we talked about Peter Schwartz son, Bradley, and where he will be going to college for ‘long snap’. The NFLPA survey had the Chiefs 31st out of 32 teams as far as players not liking the facility. Boomer talked about his time with the Bengals and how they started a food drive for the homeless but some of the players were taking the food instead. Then the homeless who were coming for the food were breaking into players cars.

    Justin Fields was on video celebrating and it seems like he was celebrating news that he is going to the Falcons. Boomer still thinks there’s a chance he goes to the Raiders. We talked about the Bears looking to trade Justin Fields to draft Caleb Williams. Richard Lewis passed away and Al posted a photo of him and Richard. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Joe Douglas talking about Mecole Hardman and Zach Wilson. Steve Belichick was on a podcast and he sounds just like his father, Bill. With the Jets still in the news this offseason for all the wrong reasons, it’s good that Aaron Rodgers isn’t one of the players involved. Jerry returns for an update but first Gio said there are mailboxes here at WFAN from people who have passed away or who haven’t worked here in years. There is a debate as to who the ‘penis pioneer’ of broadcasting is. Jerry said it’s Al Dukes, and Eddie has plenty of drops to prove that. The norovirus has reared its ugly head again in the tri-state area. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with audio from last night’s Rangers’ loss. They are 39-17-3, so that’s pretty good. We heard from John Minko as St. John’s beat #15 Creighton while Rick Pitino wore a white suit. Jerry went around the NBA yesterday. Francisco Alvarez hit a HR for the Mets in spring training. Jerry has audio of AJ Brown calling in to WIP in Philadelphia to talk about how negative the media is. In the final segment of the hour, Tom Izzo here at WFAN has taken WFAN out of his name and now he’s TomIzzoDigital instead. Peter King also announced his retirement. Izzo comes into the studio to explain himself.

    WFAN’s search to replace Spike Eskin seems to be at a standstill. A caller wonders if Matt Rempe is able to turn down fights when people challenge the rookie in the NHL. The pants are see through, so you can see the tucked in jersey in the pants. C-Lo starts with Kodai Senga already experiencing arm fatigue in February. Evan Roberts was angry with the Mets and cannot say the word, ‘compartmentalize’. Rick Pitino finally apologized for calling out his players over the weekend. 

    Hour 2

    Rob Saleh seems to have no control over his players on social media. Sauce Gardner is now calling himself, ‘LaSauce’, and is playing GM. He is posting who he would be signing to the Jets if he were the GM. Kevin Clancy tells us he’s not a big uniform guy and doesn’t remember player numbers even the ones he’s watched forever. We also talked about Gio's love of 1,000 lb Sisters. They also both love Love Is Blind. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about needing a colostomy bag. Gio thinks Kevin Ollie looks like an evil magician because of the mustache and thin face. Rick Pitino finally apologized for attacking his players and saying they can’t move. Justin Fields explained why he unfollowed the Bears on Instagram. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Shane Gillis hosting SNL even though they fired him before he started working there.

    Craig Carton reported that the thing going on with the Eagles locker room would fracture any relationship. Adam Schefter was on the radio in Philadelphia and pretty much said this is tabloid journalism. Kevin Clancy just remembered he forgot to tell his Mom he was hosting with Gio today. He also didn’t tell her to turn the Mets game on when Johan Santana was throwing a no hitter. They also talked about what it’s like when you first have children and how it changes your life. There should be some sort of test to be able to have children. A caller said he was playing craps in a casino in Florida and Eli Manning was right next to him at the next table. We also talked about Dana White betting an insane amount of money at the tables. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Knicks injuries as we come out of the All Star break. Charles Barkley said of Kevin Durant, ‘Kevin’s a follower, he’s not a leader’. KD responded saying these guys on tv need to fill segments with negativity. Rick Pitino finally apologized for his comments over the weekend where he went after his players. We talked about Eddie going to sleep at 5pm during the week.     Scottie Pippen, Luc Longley, and Horace Grant are going on tour to dispute some of the things presented in The Last Dance documentary. They are calling it ‘The No Bull’ Tour. We talked about friction when you’re on a team like the Bulls experienced. It happened at Barstool and it has happened at WFAN over the years. Gio wonders who best stood up to Dave Portnoy over the years. Gio wonders if Portnoy likes to be challenged. C-Lo returns for his final update of the day and starts with the arm fatigue of Kodai Senga. And yes, arm fatigue in February. The Moment of The Day includes an older caller who wanted to be quizzed on Brooklyn Dodgers uniform numbers. We talked about the worst NY hires and came up with Adam Gase and Mickey Callaway. Gio put David Fizdale on that list as well. We could get two new football coaches and a new Yankees manager if things don’t go well this upcoming season. C-Lo is here for his first update but first we talked about him co-hosting with BT yesterday, filling in for Sal. Gio said that Kevin Clancy of Barstool will be filling in for Boomer on Thursday morning. Juan Soto met the media and said it’s going to be ‘electric’. Luke Voit talked about the potential of being a DH with the Mets. Anthony Rendon said baseball is a job but it’s not his highest priority. Antonio Pierce thinks he has the formula to beat the Chiefs, the ‘Patrick Mahomes Rules’. Rick Pitino said he wasn’t ripping anybody when he criticized his team on Sunday. In the final segment of the hour, Jason Kelce was a guest on Shaq’s podcast. He told Kelce to retire and spend time with his wife and kids because he screwed up in the past. It made both Gio and Jerry sad to hear Shaq sounding so lonely. Jerry said you better have a plan when you retire or you are going to struggle. Ryan Clark put out a hype video for himself saying his deal with ESPN is over and ‘somebody gotta pay the piper’.

    We continued talking about Ryan Clark, whose contract is up at ESPN, and he put out a hype video for his broadcasting career. He wants to work less in his next job, but get paid more. We also wondered what recently retired NFL players would want to do a 4-hour radio show, 5 days a week like Boomer. These guys have all made way too much money in their careers. C-Lo is here for an update, but first Gio has a story about a black hole that is scaring him. Juan Soto talked about his expectations for this ‘electric’ Yankees season. A caller said he’s ‘a moon chaser’, and is going to Mexico to see some sort of moon eclipse. He also is a micro-doser and a gynecologist. There was a brawl in the Texas A&M-Comm vs Incarnate Word basketball game. Also, Tyrese Haliburton has 2 completely different voices within the same conversation. In the final segment of the hour, a caller said his girlfriend’s grandmother died and his girlfriend thought the bird was a sign from heaven. It’s definitely turning the fans off since he is making a ton of money and he only plays like 50 games a year. Gio thinks a lot of athletes feel like Rendon. It’s just a job and a paycheck to them. Golf analyst Amanda Balionis wasn’t wearing her wedding ring at the Genesis Invitational and a lot of online speculation began. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with Juan Soto commenting on whether the Yankees have enough to win the World Series. Why is Gio so fascinated with Peter Schwartz? Chris McMonigle had a slip of the tongue and mentioned the Yankees when talking about hockey. Tiki Barber said Shaun Morash is ‘not a real Giant fan’. We also talked about how terrible Evan Roberts looks. In the final segment of the hour, Beyonce has a new song and it’s country. We also talked more about Pete Alonso’s upcoming free agency.
