The company is called Shinesty, and a bunch of people called in who are happy customers. Jerry returns for an update but first Gary Vee took the audio and video from our interview and turned it into a commercial without asking for permission. Rob Manfred gave 5-year notice that he’s leaving in 2029. Josh Hart told Mikal Bridges that it’s a Knicks town no matter how good the Nets are. Hour 3

Boomer will not be going to the NHL Stadium Series. A caller wants to know what Boomer thinks of his new boss, George Soros. Gio explains Soros’ hedge fund buying 40% of Audacy’s debt. Boomer and Gio both said that the hedge fund wants to make money so it’s a good thing. We also wondered if the ARod day for Evan and Tiki is genuine or if it’s a bit. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Brian Cashman audio talking about competing for players to come to NY where we don’t have great weather like San Diego. Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

    Hour 1

We are finally back in NYC after our Super Bowl trip to Vegas. Steve Cohen declared it baseball season, but Gio said the Mets haven’t done anything to make it feel like baseball season. With the Knicks doing well and the local hockey teams playing well, it is not baseball season at all around here. The Super Bowl ratings came out and CBS had over 123 million viewers. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first we talked about the NHL Stadium Series jerseys they sent us. Jerry starts with the controversial ending in the Knicks loss last night. Jalen Brunson was called on a foul that wasn’t a foul. Boomer wonders why people keep asking David Stearns about the Pete Alonso contract. Evan Roberts’ beard looks really awful now. He looks like the Geico caveman. In the final segment of the hour, people were mad at the Jets for releasing their new, old, uniforms right after the Super Bowl ended. No matter what the Jets do, people criticize them. Boomer thinks the Broncos may be getting new uniforms. Throwback jerseys almost always look better than the current jerseys the teams are wearing. The NBA has so many alternate jerseys it hard to know who’s playing without a score bug.

    Hour 2

Gio and Eddie had a corn dog before the Super Bowl. They also watched people eating chili out of a Fritos bag. Gio said that being at the game, you don’t realize all the things people are mad at while watching the game on TV. People didn’t like Usher getting too close to Alicia Keys. People also didn’t like Ice Spice wearing an upside down cross and then making horn gestures with her hands. People thought she was sending satanic messages. Taylor Swift was only on camera for 54 seconds of a 4 hour and 8 minute Super Bowl. Gio doesn’t think Taylor Swift will go to the Chiefs parade. Gio said people were also upset that Tony Romo was talking too much on the final TD play. Jerry is here for another update but first Boomer thinks it’s interesting that the Chiefs have won 2 Super Bowls after losing Tyreek Hill. Jerry has the final TD as called by Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. People were mad that Romo talked too much instead of letting it breathe. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco were not happy with comedian Mike Epps insinuating that Sharpe is gay. Sharpe said he is going to roll up on him. The Knicks got screwed last night with a bad foul call on Jalen Brunson. Boomer has had enough of people asking David Stearns about Pete Alonso. In the final segment of the hour, the Alicia Keys performance was edited for the official YouTube video of it. Her voice cracked at the very beginning but it has been taken out. A caller asked if it’s sunk in yet that this is now the slowest time in sports.

    Hour 3

The Super Bowl favorites for next year are out and it’s the Niners and Chiefs, of course. The Jets are +3,000 and are tied for tenth. The Giants are tied at second to last at +15,000. Boomer said the Giants are in a really weird spot because of the initial year of success. The Giants are still the third best team in the NFC East. Mitch Trubisky was let go by the Steelers. Boomer said the Jets have to prepare for Aaron Rodgers to get hurt at some point, coming off an achilles injury and playing a 17 game season at 40. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks getting screwed last night on a bad foul call on Jalen Brunson. Totally fugazi. David Stearns said ‘success can be defined in a lot of different ways’. Um, ok. In the final segment of the hour, Gio watched Jerry make eggs in the microwave and wished he was rolling video. A hot egg yolk exploded when Jerry punctured it. We wondered why they don’t have hard rolls in other parts of the country.

    Hour 4

Gio is wearing a pair of Timberlands that are over 20 years old. Gio is limping today trying to keep up with Al and Gina running from the Super Bowl to catch a car back to the hotel. A caller wonders why Giants fans would want a 74 year old Bill Belichick if things don’t work out with Brian Daboll. Boomer wonders if Mac Jones could be a backup on the Jets. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the Knicks getting screwed on a foul call on Jalen Brunson that clearly wasn’t a foul. Andy Reid talked about the difficulty of going for a three-peat. David Stearns met the media again to talk about the Mets upcoming season. The Moment of the Day involves Gio and Eddie trying to keep up with Al as he ran out of the stadium Sunday. In the final segment of the show, Alyssa Milano was at the Super Bowl a few weeks asking people to donate to her son’s little league trip.

Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

    Hour 1

Gio had a great day yesterday. First he and Boomer were on the Drew Barrymore show. Then, Boomer, Gio and Jerry played at a really bougie golf club. They were only supposed to be on one segment, but they ended up being on the entire Drew Barrymore Show. The first half of the interview was just questions for Boomer and Gio was just loitering. The topic of Taylor Swift came up during the taping and Gio blamed angry football fans for the Taylor Swift hate. Gio did a good job reading off the teleprompter. The only controversy football wise is the Niners are still angry about their practice facility and the quality of the turf. Boomer said Jerry always wears ‘balloon pants’ while golfing, and did so again yesterday. Boomer said there are a lot of ‘mutants hanging around’ the casino today. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first we talked about Drew Barrymore just getting over the Norovirus and hopefully Boomer doesn’t get it. Jerry has audio of Patrick MAHOMES talking about being the villain now. Tom Brady is surprised the greatest coach ever doesn’t have a job. Cowboys’ Tony Pollard just found out while on the Pat McAfee Show that Dan Quinn left for the Commanders. Today is the NBA trade deadline at 3pm. In the final segment of the hour, Booger McFarland came to the defense of people criticizing Tony ROMO. Gio said he was around ROMO yesterday and seems very happy and living a great life. Gio said ROMO is ‘meatier’ than he thought he would be. Al thought Tracy Wolfson was ‘tiny’. Al & Eddie ran into Mark Davis at an Asian fusion restaurant. Boomer & Gio ran into the owner of the Chargers.

    Hour 2

Peter Schwartz just showed up in Vegas so he joins us on location. Al put on Peter’s gigantic shirt. He also got to interview Dr Oz, but Oz left when Peter asked him who’s going to win the Super Bowl. We asked Peter if he likes a buffet. Boomer and Gio do not like buffets. Peter likes the Patrick Roy hiring by the Islanders. Peter plays video blackjack because he had a bad experience at a table when he hit on 17. Michael Irvin would not take a selfie with Peter. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Mike FRANCESA saying you should never watch the Super Bowl alone. That’s followed by a clip of Chris Russo saying he likes to watch the game alone. Charles Barkley can’t believe how much people pay for Super Bowl tickets. Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talked about the Cowboys and the issue of Jerry Jones being in the spotlight. David Sterns was on the Jon Heyman podcast and it doesn’t sound like an extension to Pete Alonso isn’t coming any time soon. Sounds like it won’t happen until after this season when his contract ends. In the final segment of the hour, Nick Saban is joining ESPN, specifically for College Game Day. Gio said these guys just can’t stay away, they have to be around the game. He’s over 70 years old and has made $200 million. The transfer portal is driving college coaches crazy and will drive more coaches like Saban out of the game. Rex Ryan interviewed with the Dallas Cowboys for defensive coordinator. Imagine Rex with Jerry Jones and Mike McCarthy. Boomer had dinner with Phil Simms, Chris Simms, Howie Long and Chris Long. Phil’s lady glasses came up because of the interview with James Brown earlier that day.

    Hour 3

Boomer wonders if Gio’s opinion on how the Super Bowl will go has changed since the time we’ve been here. Gio is rooting for the Niners, but if he bet the game, he would bet on the Chiefs because of Patrick MAHOMES. He has too much Super Bowl experience and has been on a run as the underdog this postseason. Boomer said teams are running all over the Niners so they better figure that out. The Giants gave offensive coordinator Mike Kafka a promotion to assistant head coach. Gio said the Giants offense has been terrible so he doesn’t understand why other teams wanted Mike Kafka. Boomer said he’s a loyal soldier to Brian DABOLL and that’s what he needs right now. Patrick MAHOMES just doesn’t turn the ball over. Boomer did say MAHOMES was a game manager in the second half against Baltimore. Boomer got to interview Brock Purdy for the pregame show and thinks he will have a good Super Bowl. Jerry returns for an update and asks, ‘what’s the best compliment you’ve ever received as a man?’ There’s a pic going around of Drake that shows he’s got a missile down there. Chris Jones was asked if this was going to be his last game with the Chiefs. Calling Brock Purdy a game manager is not fair. Boomer said you could say that about Joe Montana if that’s the case. Tiki Barber said Tom THIBODEAU is stuck in his ways and it could be getting players hurt. Jerry even has some sound from the Rangers game. Stephen A. Smith was asked about which animals he would choose to protect himself against an attack of different animals (it was confusing). A guy climbed on top of the sphere yesterday. In the final segment of the hour, we are going to a Breitling Watch event with Boomer tonight. It’s getting more crowded here as it always does on Thursday of Super Bowl week.

    Hour 4

The NBA trade deadline is today at 3pm, but Gio would be shocked if the Knicks make a deal. The NHL trade deadline is tomorrow and we talked a bit about the Rangers’ needs. Gio tells a story of a guy rewarded $25 million because a newspaper attributed racist quotes to him when it was another person. Dean Spanos, the owner of the Chargers, was at the golf club yesterday. Gio was in a ‘suck up spot’ when he told Dean he sees the Chargers in the Super Bowl within two years. Boomer said Gio seemed very comfortable at this bougie golf club. Gio got shamed into a Super Bowl box situation that cost $1,000. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with Patrick MAHOMES talking about being the villain now because of how much they win. Tony Pollard of the Cowboys didn’t know Dan Quinn left to become the head coach with the Commanders. David Stearns was on the Jon Heyman podcast and talked about Pete Alonso and a potential extension (not looking good for this year). I guess Evan Roberts is going to have to keep that red bushy beard longer. The Rangers beat the Lightning last night. The Moment of The Day involves Al trying on Peter Schwartz’s giant shirt. In the final segment of the show, TV producer Stephen Waldron joins us to talk about taking unfinished wine off of another table in a restaurant after it was evacuated due to a fire alarm. Yesterday both Gio and Jerry were confused at golf as to who to or not to tip. We also talked more about tipping the flight attendant on the ride here.

Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

Boomer & Gio Podcast (WHOLE SHOW)

    Hour 1

Somehow the Chiefs are still underdogs in the Super Bowl, which Gio thinks is going to fire up Patrick Mahomes even more. The Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes are the new Patriots with Tom Brady. The Chiefs radio announcer went nuts about people doubting the Chiefs and how you have to deal with the Chiefs. Boomer recalls when his love affair with Patrick Mahomes started. Jerry is here for his first update of the day, but first Boomer talks to Gio about who Dua Lipa is dating. He’s an actor in a movie about rowing. The Knicks won their seventh straight, beating the Hornets. Doc Rivers lost in his first game coaching the Bucks. Andy Reid said he met Taylor Swift before Travis Kelce did. Dan Campbell talked about all the things they did wrong in their loss to the Niners. Chris Russo is sick of seeing Chiefs/Niners. Boomer told us about the ratings for Chiefs/Ravens and it had something like 56 million viewers. In the final segment of the hour, Gio had a problem with a left lane driver going slow on the LIE. Boomer said we all get a little crazy while driving on the LIE. It’s also funny to see the same cars on the road at the same time on your way to work.

    Hour 2

Ochocinco told Shannon Sharpe that Beyonce would have caused just as large an uproar if she was dating Travis Kelce as Taylor Swift is. Shannon does not agree. Tough to compare because Taylor is at the height of her success and Beyonce’s was a few years ago. When the camera was on her in this past game, she mouthed, ‘go away please’. Gio can’t believe Boomer doesn’t know who Scooter Braun is, even though he claims to be a huge Taylor Swift fan. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the audio of Ochocinco and Shannon Sharpe discussing Beyonce and Taylor Swift. Andy Reid talked about looking forward to using the Raiders facility in Vegas. Reid also talked about the injury status of Kadarius Toney. Tom Brady talked about Dan Campbell and how he must feel losing in the championship game. The Knicks smashed the Hornets last night 113-92. Jerry went around the NBA last night. In the final segment of the hour, Gio was looking for a golf partner for Friday in Vegas. Stephen Waldron at CBS changed his flight so he can play with Gio.

    Hour 3

Gio wonders where all the stories about Andy Reid maybe retiring come from. Andy Reid and the Chiefs have been dominant for years. Why stop now? We also talked about the Chiefs drafting Mahomes and then letting him sit behind Alex Smith. We also talked about music we played trying to get our young kids to fall asleep. A caller thinks Stugotz is the one that started the rumor of Andy Reid retiring. Boomer still thinks the NFL is going to go to an 18-game schedule and then the Super Bowl will be the Sunday before Presidents Day. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio from Evan Roberts’ Mets podcast. His guest was Adam Wainwright and Evan introduced him by asking, ‘can you go f*** yourself?’ Evan is a shock jock. In the final segment of the hour, Karen Carson and the morning show at 102.7 call in with a Dua Lipa update. She is coming to NYC when we are in Vegas for Super Bowl week.

    Hour 4

Evan Roberts is trying to get out of this beard bet by playing pickleball against Shaun Morash. Morash will probably throw the match so Evan wins and he can shave the beard he said he wouldn't shave until the Mets extended Pete Alonso. He is welching on a bet. Boomer wonders why Gio will play golf anywhere, but wouldn't play softball. Gio doesn’t want to get hurt in the Summer running out a ground ball. Jerry returns for his final update of the morning and starts with Andy Reid saying he needs to make sure players stay away from the strip in Vegas. We talked about how great Brock Purdy has been the last two seasons. Jerry has audio of Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco talking about the price of Viagra. The Knicks beat the Hornets in Charlotte, their seventh straight win. The Moment of The Day involves Dua Lipa’s visit to the show, and it’s not good news. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer has been studying Lamar Jackson’s dropbacks in the championship game. Elon Musk’s Neuralink went into the first human brain. You can also pay at Whole Foods by using your palm.
