Episode 112 begins with a segment I've wanted to do and share for quite a while. Straddling the line between two generations has allowed me to see things the way they were and the way they became. I celebrate this fact as I look at my Cape Cod roots. Reminisce about things that used to be on the Cape, and for folks of my generation look back at how life was in general in the 80s and 90s.
With the recent passing of Bob Barker it is only appropriate to go way Back In the Day and take a look at the Price Is Right game show, specifically the 35 years that Barker hosted. It is highly likely that people who grew up during his time as host will find some fond memories in this segment.

On September 12, 2020 I decided to quit drinking. It was a difficult task but September 12, 2023 marked 3 years of being alcohol-free. I take a deep dive into my story. My journey through the rough times when alcohol ruled my life to the challenges of quitting something so difficult to defeat. If my story helps even one person it will have been worth sharing.

We start this episode, a week after Easter Weekend discussing the unimaginable story of Denise Frazier who was charged for sleeping with a German Shepard.  After sharing the illicit act via Social Media, the authorities arrested and charged Denise accordingly.  She now faces up to 10 years in prison for the immoral act.  Could she have identified as a dog and gotten away with it?  Will that be her defense? 

In the world of sports, we covered the draft and the basketball championships.  Eddie and Gabriel discussed their love for baseball and how they have been fans of first Jose Conseco before the steriods, and then Ken Griffey Jr. making them lifelong fans of the Seattle Mariners.  So much so, that they went to Ken Griffey Jr's induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame where they saw Pete Rose.

We revisited the murder of Bob Lee and the coincidence of the FedNow App.  Is this the government's way to eliminating cash all together?

Gabriel talks about being bamboozled into registering Republican and we realize that Jose may have also been bamboozled as well!

Errata: Lefty Williams faced 5 batters, not 6 (Craig was right the first time) in Game 8. He allowed 4 hits (2 singles, 2 doubles) and retired the leadoff batter on an infield fly. To clarify the timeline, the Chicago grand jury referenced in the interview met in September 1920. The American League suspended the eight charged players in March 1921 and the jury acquitted them that August. The new commissioner, Judge Landis, issued the lifetime ban the next day.
