Joining me today is the Host of The Horrors of Love Podcast: Jeanette Wall.
We discuss our love for love, our obsession with lesbian undertones, and expand on all the mysterious outcomes that one could build after watching this film. In Two Words: Sapphic Longing

This 1975 Australian Mystery was an international blockbuster inspired by Joan Lindsay's best seller. Rumored to be inspired by true events... but also known to simply be inspired by William Ford's "At The Hanging Rock" painting.
It's become up to audience view points for answers. Is this the original Blair Witch Project or are we watching Unsolved Crimes?

Wake in Fright

    Review: Picnic At Hanging Rock

    Review: Picnic At Hanging Rock

Emma is fascinated with the haunting Australian story Picnic at Hanging Rock, originally a book published in 1967 by Joan Lindsay.  She had the opportunity to speak to Tom Wright, the playwright of Malthouse Theatre’s production of Picnic at Hanging Rock, and to visit the Macedon Ranges, the home of Picnic at Hanging Rock, to experience where the mystery all began.

Picnic at Hanging Rock is on at the Malthouse Theatre until 20th March.
