    Greg Knight (Greg Knight Music)

    Greg Knight (Greg Knight Music)

Welcome to Roadcase!!  We are totally pumped to have PR Master Greg Knight on the show! Greg handles communications for the band Goose, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and Twiddle to name just a few. In addition to being a wonderful human and live music maven, Greg's PR skills are second-to-none, and his rise within the Goose organization is equal parts inspirational and a tale of "being in the right place at the right time," in his own words. But that doesn't tell the whole story; Greg is an incredibly hard worker, who not only reps the fastest rising band in the jam community, but also tirelessly supports music education throughout the New York area through his work with Turnaround Arts, a NY-based non-profit organization. Greg is simply a stellar human and an engaging personality to boot with many tales from the road as well as from the trenches. So put on your podcast socks, hop on the Roadcase bus, and join in the fun with Greg Knight of Greg Knight Music.  It's gonna be a great ride!

Andy Frasco (Andy Frasco & the U.N.)

Andy Frasco (Andy Frasco & the U.N.)

Welcome to Roadcase!!   We're so psyched to have the amazing Andy Frasco on the show. Andy is a native L.A. dude -- which we love -- but more importantly, Andy is the ultimate hard-worker and road warrior.  Having performed upwards of 250 shows a year for almost 10 years, he has built a huge following both on the road and with his successful podcast, Andy Frasco's World Saving Podcast.  Andy's live shows are full-on collective explosions of fun, great music, and a celebration of life, albeit at times quite over the top. But Andy has cooled his jets significantly as of late and has gained more focus on living healthy (relatively speaking), and preaching self-love and being present in the moment. The shift Andy has undergone is absolutely noteworthy in today's complicated times of uncertainty and emotional upheaval, and he now brings a very admirable self-reflective attitude that is both warm and refreshing. Andy is one of Roadcase's favorite people; his easy laugh and fun loving attitude make him the perfect guest.  So jump onto the Roadcase bus for this simply awesome conversation with Andy Frasco.  Hang on tight...  it's a great ride!!

Ep. 103: Sumthin' Smells FUNKY Vol. 4! - Soul Searchin'

Ep. 103: Sumthin' Smells FUNKY Vol. 4! - Soul Searchin'

Welcome back my friends to Ep. 103 where this week our rock n’ roll grave robbers witness the rise of sumthin’ funky! It’s been a while since we visited funky town. So, once again: cut your lava lamps on, slip into some velvet and your highest platform boots, and pick your funky-dos to spherical perfection! That’s right funky junkies… let’s do a little Soul Searchin’!

What is it that we do here at InObscuria? We exhume obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. In this episode we take a listen to all 3, as we move n’ groove our way through the last 40-years of funk-infused rock n’ roll. This genre has a special meaning to the hosts, which is why you get an exclusive debut listen to a funk rock band that included one of your two undertakers!

    Songs this week include:

    1. Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise – “Shake It Off” from Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise (1996)
    2. The Main Squeeze – “#WWC” from Mind Your Head (2015)
    3. Brownout  – “The Wizard” from Brownout Presents Brown Sabbath (2014)
    4. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong – “F.U.” from Psychology (2014)
    5. Here Come The Mummies – “Tightrope Walker” from A Blessing And A Curse (2016)
    6. Big Chief – “One Born Every Minute (Doc’s Theme)” from Mack Avenue Skullgame (1993)
    7. Five Alarm Funk – “We Play Funk (feat. Bootsy Collins)” from Big Smoke (2018)
    8. Kenfunky Fried – “Tie Me Up” from Subwoofer (1995)
