    194 - Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) Review

    194 - Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023) Review

Pooh and Piglet start killing all who enter Hundred Acre Wood after their close friend, Christopher Robin leaves them for college.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey was one of the movies we wanted to watch for the longest time since it came out in early 2023. We couldn't wait to watch how they'd make beloved children's characters evil and violent. After watching, it was our high level of excitement that led us to being completely disappointment. In every way, this movie did not deliver and left us thinking this could have been so entertaining and fun. Watch the movie and catch our review.

Reel Rankings: The Revival (Part 1): 2009-2012

Reel Rankings: The Revival (Part 1): 2009-2012

Soooo... last go-around wasn't so hot. But we do, in fact, like modern Disney, as is the case with the Revival Era. Here, we discuss and rank The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Winnie the Pooh, and Wreck-It Ralph. This was more of a nostalgia trip for us, considering 2010s pop culture, and it was fun to revisit.

P.S. We recorded this before the "Recession" ranking, hence why I refer to Raeley as guest.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023)

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey (2023)

This take on the classic fairy tale was brought to real life with gore, comedy and a Pooh we have never experienced before! I had an extremely good time watching this horror film, I know its a horror movie about Winnie the Pooh but once you get past that and enjoy yourself its a fun little ride. This movie should be enjoyed with friends and horror fans to have a good laugh and enjoy the cringe!

Joan brings the case against her sister, Barbara. When Joan was 8, their aunt gave her a present: a framed print of Winnie-the-Pooh. Joan hung it in the bedroom she shared with Barbara – but she left it behind when she got her own room. Now it’s 50 years later, and Barbara says the Pooh print belongs to her. Joan wants it back! Who’s right? Who’s wrong?

    Piglet Pooh and Peer Support

Peer support is extremely important in every facet of our lives. It goes beyond being a good friend, because sometimes your peers are people you've never met.

As I was recording this piece it struck me that I wanted to release it right away without worrying about editing or tagging etc. It is 9/11 and while I didn't even intend it, I think because of that and National Suicide Awareness month, it's best if I post it right away. You never know who out there could use a little story like this.

Let me know what you think.
