    S3 Ep4 Alive & Kicking

Let me just say that it’s great to be back. It has been almost 2 months since my last episode, work and personal commitments kept me busy. It was also a time for some reflection. Looking back on your past is an interesting but sometimes complex task. I think I almost overwhelmed myself with the content of my aviation career, as well as re-living the highs and lows of a life past. But no matter, I am back, with the next installment.

    In this episode
I learn the outcome of the Twin Otter crash in Abuja and why it happened, new customers come on board as we launch our new services, and our new charter jet finally arrives in Lagos.

Welcome to Pink Sky Inspired conversations with Enid Otun & Lucy Ashby. Today we are talking with Gemma Lea.

Gemma is fat, 40 and after 30 years of an unhealthy relationship with food and her body, she decided to make the journey down the marvellous yellow brick road that is body positivity.
Writing under the name Madame Munki, Gemma blogs about what it is like trying to find herself after years of struggling with her self-worth. She also creates illustrations and artwork to promote positive body image, including her first children’s story, ‘Welcome to BoPovia' which was published on her website www.madamemunki.com. During Lockdown she filmed 100 daily vlogs, documenting the challenges and the oddities of this crazy world we find ourselves in.
Gemma wants to share her experiences in the hope that it might just inspire other people to take the journey towards self-love.

    Pinkskyinspired conversations with Susannah Close

IN 2019, having just run a PB in the Cambridge Half Marathon, Suze was pretty shocked to discover she, in fact, had advanced stage 3 bowel cancer. She was only 36, fit and healthy, forced to re-evaluate her life in an instant.

In an attempt to organise her own feelings and stop other people facing the same dilemma, she began writing about her experiences, first for True Stories Live and then in her very own Blog ‘Let’s talk about poo’.

During treatment, Suze found that her continued commitment to fitness and exercise had a positive impact on the severity of her chemo side effects and has since added ‘encouraging other cancer patients to exercise through treatment’, to her list of aims for the blog and Instagram account, alongside getting people talking openly about poo.
