From Victim to Victor: Unleashing Your Inner Power -1001 Ways Episode + A True Story

What's the benefit of being one who lets go of victimhood? Is there an energy boost or a power boost, or is it a mistake to let go of playing the victim?

This is a continuation of last week's 1001 ways of being to let go of. According to all kinds of victimhood calibrations, none are worth holding on to if you intend to have a happier, more fulfilling, and balanced life.

But I forgot to talk about the energy of letting go of victimhood. It's this week's 1001 ways of being of higher consciousness.

And because this is a quickie episode, I also will share a heartwarming and true story of my experience this past Saturday with my beloved 11Lb, deaf, and almost blind 16-year-old malti-poo named Dancer.

When I first met him, all I felt from him was a Buddha-like energy. Loving, wise, observant, and now adventurous.

That's this week's episode of 1001 Ways to Being of Higher Consciousness called: From Victim to Victor: Unleashing Your Inner Power + A True & Heartwarming Story About My Dog Dancer and Applying One of My Top 10 Rules to Live By & Let the Miracles In!

Welcome to another enlightening episode of "1001 Ways of Being to Let Go of..." But before we dive in, I'm Liz Gracia, your happy host of Your Weekly Dose of Higher Consciousness and the Founder & Editor in Chief of TheMindBodySpiritNetwork.com, your source for conscious living.

Today, we're exploring the intriguing question: Why do some people effortlessly conquer life's challenges while others remain trapped in victimhood? Imagine standing at the crossroads of your life, with one path leading to empowerment and meaningful forward motion, and the other to victimhood and stagnation. Which path are you walking?

In this episode, we unravel the harmful and destructive attractor fields of victimhood. Did you know that, according to Dr. David R. Hawkins and his consciousness research, all lower levels of consciousness are victimhood energies? Anything below 200 on the consciousness scale is swimming in a pool of victimhood in some area of life. But don't worry; this isn't about making you feel bad. It's about understanding and transcending these patterns.

We'll explore common examples of victimhood, shedding light on where you might be playing the victim in you

Are you the driver or the passenger of your life?

Are you the driver or the passenger of your life?

One of the primary goals of this podcast, dearest listeners, is to empower you.  And today, I want to lovingly remind you of how powerful you are.  How under any circumstance, like Marcus Aurelius wrote, you can get a hold of yourself quickly and get back into rhythm when you decide to.

I have news for you, friend.  You are the super hero of your life.  You are the main character.  The star.  The hero or the heroine.  What you do next is completely up to you.  You can feel defeated and let life pass you by, or you can pull yourself up and get into the driver's seat and steer the car in the direction you want to go.

    Feeling Sorry for Yourself

    Feeling Sorry for Yourself
What good does feeling sorry for yourself do? Fr. Mike points out a hard truth in saying—while you have the right to grieve when tragic things happen in your life—you never have the right, or permission, to feel sorry for yourself. All it does is shrink the universe down to the size of you. It blocks out the blessings God gave you that you should be thankful for, and paralyzes you from joyfully giving to others. When you feel the temptation to feel sorry for yourself coming on, in the words of St. Paul, Fr. Mike recommends: “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful” (Colossians 3:15). Quote from G.I. Jane: “I never saw a wild thing sorry for itself. A bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself” (Viggo Mortensen as Master Chief John James Urgayle in G.I. Jane, original quote from D.H. Lawrence, 20th century English writer).
