The Legal Factors to consider BEFORE using AI in your Business, with Girija Patel.

“Keep moving forward boldly, God has your back” - Girija Patel.

Everyone has been hearing more and more about ChatGPT and other AI tools that seem to have completely taken over how we communicate. While they are great tools that come with many pros (even I can’t deny that), what about the cons? Is there actually a wrong way to use AI? Omgoodness has anyone considered how using it can impact you legally?

That’s why I’m happy to have Girija Patel, Founder and Attorney at GBP Law, join me for this episode of The Shine to FIVE™ Method for Side Hustlers. She answers all of those burning questions and really breaks down what you NEED to do before using AI in your business.

    Here's what is covered:
    - What you should understand about AI and how it actually works.
    - The ONE thing that most people actually neglect doing when using AI.
    - The 3 important factors that everyone needs to take seriously about information from AI.
    - The legal ramifications of misusing AI for your Business.

Girija is a mom, a wife, lawyer, podcaster, strategist, educator, and a business owner in Houston, Texas. Her law practice, GBP Law, specifically focuses on helping entrepreneurs and on-line business owners build their business’ legal fundamentals and integrate legal as a part of their strategy so they can move forward confidently and do what they love! Her goal is to help make legal a line item and not a panic attack!
In 2020, Girija launched Your Contract Buddy (www.yourcontractbuddy.com), an online contract template shop, and also founded her podcast, Law Chat with Girija. From her days of being a prosecutor to managing her own law practice and to being lead legal strategist for your business, Girija’s core value to serve her community remains at the center of all her endeavors.

Sarah Symons | Founder and Director of Her Future Coalition

Sarah is the founder and Director of Her Future Coalition, an international charity that has helped thousands of girls rise out of poverty and exploitation to become free and independent.

Her Future Coalition has been selected for a collaboration with Michelle Obama's Girls  Opportunity Alliance, a campaign to promote and support education for the most vulnerable girls, around the world.

Over the years they have served tens of thousands of survivors in India, Nepal, Cambodia and Thailand. Most exciting to Sarah is the fact that the survivors who joined our programs a few years ago are now managing the programs, working as trainers and mentors to newly rescued girls. They couldn’t imagine any future at all when they were living in brothels. Now their dreams are limitless!

To get a sense of Sarah, here’s her Ted Talk and long-form bio. On the podcast, she could talk about all things women's empowerment and overcoming obstacles in the human trafficking.

Ep. 28 Dr. Una Teaches Physicians How to Take Control of their Future Through Entrepreneurship

Ep. 28 Dr. Una Teaches Physicians How to Take Control of their Future Through Entrepreneurship

The Solopreneur Hustle Podcast is a weekly conversation, with Business Coach Nia Lewis, about how to build a successful solo business while maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life. The Solopreneur Hustle community is a safe space for women of color in entrepreneurship to connect, celebrate success, and support each other.

This week our Solopreneur guest is Dr. Una! Dr. Una is the founder of Ivy League Pediatrics, a multi-site pediatric practice in Georgia. While building her practice, Dr. Una developed a love for entrepreneurship. Like many doctors, Dr. Una felt like an imposter when she started out in business because she was trained to be a great clinician, not an entrepreneur.

Starting a business without a background in entrepreneurship was challenging. Dr. Una overcame these challenges by getting outside of her comfort zone and immersing herself in business communities. She soon realized that her love for both medicine and entrepreneurship could come together in a meaningful way and bring increased purpose, and freedom to her life.

In 2018, Dr. Una founded EntreMD, a platform created to help physicians embrace entrepreneurship. Dr. Una helps doctors build successful businesses so they can practice medicine and live life on their own terms.

In this episode we learn from Dr. Una:

    1. Why it’s important to be multifaceted, even when we have an established career path
    2. How entrepreneurship can help us take control of our financial future
    3. Why business skills are important to learn in almost any profession
    4. How it’s possible to build a profitable business even if you have no background in entrepreneurship

Connect with Dr. Una here: http://entremd.com/

65 - Social Media Marketing World Takeaways - YouTube, Groups, Stories, WOM & more!

65 - Social Media Marketing World Takeaways - YouTube, Groups, Stories, WOM & more!

There was so much valuable insight that we learned from our recent trip to Social Media Marketing World in San Diego that we created three episodes to share our very best highlights with you!

This is episode three in that series and we recorded it once we had arrived back in Australia. By this time our learnings had really distilled and there were a few more that we thought you might like to know about.

    These were:

    > How to use YouTube as a social media marketing tool (it's so different from using the other social media channels)

    > How important it is to include social media 'Groups' & 'Stories' in your marketing strategy

    > How to let your customers tell your stories for you

    > How to create excellent social media marketing in your local area

There was so much information and insight that we gained from this conference. Plus we got to hang out together and debrief on our learnings each day over a few cocktails. #winning

So that wraps up our learnings from Social Media Marketing World. We hope you enjoyed our shared learnings!
