Am 7. Oktober 1993 verschwindet die 16-jährige Andrea Lohagen aus Bad Belzig spurlos. Erst 7 Jahre später wird ihre Leiche nahe dem Jugendclub „Pogo“ in einem Bretterschuppen gefunden. Doch die Ermittlungen laufen ins Leere. Einer der Täter gesteht im Mai 2016 auf dem Sterbebett die Tat und nennt im Zuge dessen seinen Mittäter. Aber auch dieser wird nie für die Tat zur Verantwortung gezogen.

Sie veröffentlichte zwischen 2007 und 2012 das Influenza Fanzine, in allen Ausgaben des A5-Copyshop Zines stand das Thema „Frauen im Punk“ im Vordergrund. Seit 2014 ist sie Chefredakteurin beim Plastic Bomb Fanzine und Geschäftsführerin beim dazugehörigen Mailorder und Plattenlabel. Seit 2016 ist sie die Inhaberin der GmbH. Ronja veranstaltet Punkkonzerte, ist Autorin im eigenen Fanzine und leidenschaftlich Gast auf Wave-, Metal- und Punkshows.“ Aufmerksame Hörer:innen des Ruhrpodcast wissen das schon länger, da Ronja vor einiger Zeit bereits im Podcast-Interview bei uns war. Damals ging es um sie als Frau und Geschäftsführerin im Punk. Heute stellt sie das Buch „Punk as F#ck“, das sie mit Diana Ringelsiep über die letzten Monate und Jahre geschrieben hat vor. Es geht darum, die Punk-Szene aus der FLINTA-Perspektive kennenzulernen. FLINTA? Das steht für: „Frauen, Lesben, Intersexuelle-, Nicht-Binäre-, Transgender- und Agender-Personen“ – auf der Kehrseite der Medaille Mensch stehen die (CIS-) Männer, schwul oder nicht schwul. Wie sieht es in der Punk-Szene aus? Herrscht dort auch das klassische Machtgefüge, bei dem männlich geprägte Gesellschaftsformen vorherrschen? Werden Frauen lediglich als Lustobjekt gesehen oder gar unterdrückt? Wie steht es um Künstler:innen, die sich offen als lesbisch oder zum Beispiel agender outen. Und wie kam Ronja schließlich darauf dieses Buch mit Diana zu verfassen, in dem auf fast 450 Seiten 50 Autor:innen über ihre Erfahrungen in der Punkszene sprechen? When you need insight into your own journey outside voices do not hold the same loudness as does your own. The only catch is, you have to pay attention. You must go inside, be silent. The world is spinning without me.

During the course of mental illness, a wreckage can be left behind. Intentional or not. Hurt people, hurt people. Until, you decide to not hurt anymore. Until you set the intention, and step into your energy. 

At times the spiral comes on so slow, it just gets behind you at the crosswalk. Slides in behind and then takes you over until you start isolating, avoiding. Self-care if not for the right reasons, can be a negative. Its like eating too much pizza (You can't eat it every meal, but I would every day).

• From there, it was time to talk Guava, Pogo, and TomoCredit, our Deals of the Week. The focus here was around just how inclusive certain fintechs can be, so thank you to founders who remind us to raise the bar constantly.
• Next up? A new solo fund that broke out of a16z. Why leave to do a scary thing when risk is high? We talk about that, fintech innovation, and Rex Salisbury's LP base. (Plus, more on solo founders coming soon on TechCrunch+).
• Then we dug into Mary Ann's behemoth investor survey, and closed with a look at the Coinbase-SEC situation.

Wow, war das ein Wochenende! Vom 1. bis zum 3. Juli gab es endlich mal wieder das Ruhrpott Rodeo und zwar die Nummer 14, nachdem es zwei Jahre nacheinander verschoben werden musste. Grund für den Ruhrpodcast also eine Delegation bestehend aus dem reisenden Ruhrpott-Reporter Zepp Oberpichler, nebst fotografierendem Familienanhang loszuschicken. An dieser Stelle vorab ein großes Lob und „Danke“ an den Veranstalter Alex Schwers, der unter diesen Umständen ein hervorragendes Festival auf die Beine gestellt hat – und an Mirja, die den ganzen Spaß auch mitträgt und mitmacht. Respekt! Das sollen diese ganzen Nörgler erst einmal leisten, die schon bei der Planung einer Geburtstagsfeier mit Clown verzweifeln. Und es wurde das erwartet große Fest nach der Pandemie. Manche fand jene Band spannend, mancher eine andere. So ist das bei Festivals und das ist auch gut so. Schließlich geht es nicht nur darum die bereits bekannten Heldinnen und Helden erneut abzufeiern, sondern auch darum neue oder unbekannte Künstlerinnen und Künstler, Musikerinnen und Musiker, Spinner, Phantasten, Chaotinnen etc. pp. kennenzulernen. Natürlich gab es auch wieder die, die über den Bierpreis moserten. Dazu so viel: Wenn der Eintritt nicht in astronomische Höhen getrieben werden soll, muss die Veranstaltung am Getränkeumsatz verdienen – und bei dem gebotenen Programm reichlich! Folglich wäre ein Bierpreis von 4,- Euro für einen 0,3 Literbecher völlig angemessen gewesen. Es waren aber nur 3,60 Euro. Fahrt mal nach England auf ein Festival und dann beschwert euch weiter. Unter dem Strich habe ich ein hervorragend organisiertes Festival erlebt, tolle Gespräche geführt, großartige Bands gesehen, frisch gezapfte Biere getrunken und diese mit Freude selbst bezahlt, mich von Heuschrecken ernährt und den größten Spaß des bisherigen Jahres gehabt. Brace yourself for this one. If you can't handle graphic depictions of sexual abuse directed in the most obscene and ridiculous ways towards breasts, this isn't gonna be one you're gonna enjoy. This story truly plays out like a horror film. Some type of Rob Zombie slasher flick. On acid. Robin Gecht is a man with a VERY specific sexual obsession. And that obsession, when he wasnt behind bars, combined with Satanic worship straight out of some 1980s Satanic Panic PSA, led Robin to embark on a spree of sexual violence and murder that left at least eighteen women dead. And helping him were Ed Spreitzer and brothers, Tommy and Andrew Kokoraleis. These four men, dubbed The Ripper Crew,  had a murder van, a hidden Satanic chapel, and a lot of really dark desires they took out on a lot of unsuspecting women in and around Chicago in 1981 and 1982. The truth is stranger than fiction sometimes, and this is one of those times.
