Is this a trick question? Everybody knows that humanity has too much power -- the power to pollute the air, land and sea; to commit atrocities; to self-destruct with drugs and alcohol; the power of war and nuclear weapons; the power to destroy other species. Isn't it obvious that humanity has too much power? Well, maybe not. Maybe the problem isn't that humanity has too much power; rather that it has too little. Who are the bullies? those who feel powerless. Who are the terrorists? those desperate to feel potent. Who are the child abusers, the wife batterers, the molestors? Those who are trying to prey on the weak; those without power. Humanity needs power: the power of wisdom, the power of wholeness, the power of connection to the Divine. Let's talk about power: what it is and how to develop it. It's time to ask the heavens to open and shower power on humanity. Without more wisdom, we will self-destruct. Let's support real power developing on earth. Join us!

Henry Kissinger once said that power was the ultimate aphrodisiac. And we don’t have to look very far in the news to see what he was talking about. But he forgot to tell us why. Why is power so sexy? Why is it that both women and men are so attracted to power? In order to answer that question, we are going to have to ask another: What is power? What does it mean to have power? If we knew that, we might know why it is so sexy. Or is it all just illusion? Indeed, is its very sexiness an illusion, and quite elusive at that?
