Joe has had a long and distinguished career in amateur and non league football gathering lots of trophies along the way, he has played for Waterloo Dock, Precscot Cables, Marine, St Helens and Knowsley United amongst others and went on to manage at Prescot, Lucas Sports and St Helens Town. On a Sunday he was a player and manager of the great Nicosia sides that won two FA Sunday Cups in the 90’s and 2000’s. He now works for Liverpool County FA. Phil was a driving force in the middle of the park for one of Bootles finest Sunday league teams Dickie Lewis’ also known as Seaburn and The Solly, winning countless league titles in the Crosby premier division. He was integral in the Liverpool County FA Premier Cup winning Seaburn side of 2005 which completed a momentus treble for the club. Phil played for a lot of local clubs at Semi pro level including Bootle, Maghull, Cammel Lairds & AFC Liverpool. He also turned his hand to a succesful managerial career starting out with Maghull and moving on to REMYCA United & Bootle with plenty of up and downs.
