As Tasers continue to become popular with those working in the private sector. We have to ask ourselves, are tasers the right choice for security officers? Due to the lack of non-lethal options available for Security Officers, Tasers have become the next option. All though Tasers are "non-lethal", they still potentially carry a risk for injury or death if misused without the proper training. Understanding and learning the proper use of Tasers can help prevent injury or death. 

As we enter the New Year sticking to a healthy diet can be difficult under normal circumstances and particularly challenging for Security Guards and Law Enforcement  who may have irregular work schedules and limited access to cooking equipment. The body has an in-built survival technique that kicks in automatically when one feels that they are in danger. It can be real or perceived danger. When someone feels threatened, two systems are activated....
