Goal Setting Hack: Sales vs. Profit

Goal Setting Hack: Sales vs. Profit

Setting sales goals is easy. Pick a number and that’s the goal, but is it really leading to the end result that is desired? Because for example $7k in sales in not $7k to pay yourself. There are expenses that need to be paid too and that lowers the amount available to go in your pocket…

So what happens when a sales goal is set that doesn’t lead to the profit needed? Burnout.

    This week we talk about:

    • Why does profit margin matter so much in a profit strategy?
    • How do you know if your profit margin should be higher or may not be optimized?
    • How would you raise profit margin?
    • Can profit margin be raised without raising prices? Spoiler alert: it can!

Case Study Part Three: How I Would Create a Course as a Photographer

Case Study Part Three: How I Would Create a Course as a Photographer

How I would create a course as a service based business owner. Part three.

This is the series we’ve focused on the past few weeks.

When things are new or uncomfortable or just not the way we’ve done it before it’s easy to just revert back to what we know and convince ourselves it’s fine. When in reality we aren’t hitting huge profit goals and slowly being burnt out in the process of trading time for money.

I have seen so many businesses in the past few months close their doors due to burnout. And it just breaks my heart, because it doesn’t have to be that way. But sometimes to avoid burnout we have to pivot or try new things which is downright intimidating at times.

In today’s episode we answer the questions:

    • What could a course look like for a photographer?
    • What could a good price be?
    • How many would I need to sell per month to make it worth it?
    • How quickly can I create a course?

Case Study Part Two: How I Would Create a Course as a Travel Agent

Case Study Part Two: How I Would Create a Course as a Travel Agent

How I would create a course as a service based business owner. Part two.

It can be difficult to pivot over to passive income strategies as a service based business owner. It can also be easy to use the excuse of not having the right audience built to be able to move over to passive income strategies.
