In this episode, Ashley takes us through the dangers of listening to the wrong voices in our lives, even if these voices are credible, and encourages us to listen to the One who gave us our blueprint. For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, like a root out of the dry ground. He had no form or majesty that we should look at Him, nor beauty that we should desire Him.

Many women know that our Lord, Jesus, suffered and died for our sins, but have never stopped to ponder this suffering we hear in Isaiah 53. This powerful passage in Scripture can be a guide to meditate on the power of the cross.

In this 6-session study by Alexis Heaslip, gain insight and passion for our Suffering Servant in Isaiah 53. Discover the connections between Leviticus sacrifice laws and our Lord and rest in His love for us. Dive into Scripture and see it in a new light so that you can see the LOVE our servant has for us.

Today we are going to be continuing our SIXTEEN week study into Messianic prophecies found in the Old Testament and how we can connect them to the New Testament. Seeing God Through Your Unknown Fears

Seeing God Through Your Unknown Fears

There is a reason for all of our actions, and sometimes we do not know the underlying thing that is driving or paralyzing us, but many times… it is our fears. And in addition to that, it may be fears we are not aware of.

In Nehemiah Chapter 2, we learn how to not let our fears make our decisions, but we also see what obedience looks like when fear is present.

By the end of this episode, we want you to have a grasp on your underlying fears, but more importantly, we want you to see what it looks like to say “yes” to God in the midst of them.

This is a scriptural study where we will go verse by verse in Chapter 2 of Nehemiah so that you can see how God’s word can unfold in your life and your specific circumstance.

    Seeing God Through The Unexpected

    Seeing God Through The Unexpected

Let’s be real, there’s always a thing behind the thing. And our goal with this episode is to teach you ways to get to the busted roots that are not producing any fruit in your life.

Together we will unravel specific revelations from Chapter 1 of Nehemiah that help us navigate the unexpected that happens in our lives.

When we feel we are thrown into seasons we are not prepared for, we often want to react instead of prayerfully  respond.

Nehemiah shows us how to let go of control when disaster hits by showing us what can happen when we fervently take our problems and our grieving to prayer.

Join us in this episode and bring your hurting to the table, we hope to be a vehicle to the one that can heal it.

How to Avoid the Dangers of Convenience Culture

How to Avoid the Dangers of Convenience Culture

Do you feel like your schedule is constantly packed, and exhaustion never ceases? Do you feel like you are constantly going, yet never doing enough? We often talk about solutions to this feeling, but never the dangerous outcomes if we do not make changes to our lifestyles.

Our insightful discussions will shed light on the dangerous outcomes of succumbing to a culture obsessed with ease and instant gratification. As we sift through biblical examples, we draw parallels to our modern time, cautioning against the pitfalls of convenience culture in the relentless pursuit of success to keep up with the world around us, or at least the highlights we see on our social media feeds.

Make sure to grab the resource for this week’s episode HERE and tune into our following episodes as we dive deeper into the book of Nehemiah, which teaches us to build on firm foundations, rather than aimlessly drift within the pace of the world around us.
