Imagine a group of believers who are so united that they are like oil flowing down Aaron's beard, anointing each other with God's blessing. This is the picture that the author of Psalm 133 paints for us. Unity in the church is a powerful thing. It honors God and brings blessings to believers. When we are united, we are more effective in our work for God and we experience more of His joy and peace. Unity is a gift from God. He encourages us to dwell in unity and reap the blessings that come from it. So let us commit ourselves to unity in the church. Let us be like oil flowing down Aaron's beard, anointing each other with God's blessing. Let us be a powerful witness to the world of God's love and grace. And let us experience the many blessings that come from being united in Christ.
