Darrell knows spycraft. He retired in October 2018 as the most senior black officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations. In his 32-year career in the intelligence community, Darrell achieved the rank equivalent to a 3-star general in the Senior Intelligence Service.  Twice, he served as a Station Chief and senior CIA positions, including Chief of their iconic training facility, Deputy Director of the Counterterrorism Center, and Chief of Africa Division.

In this fourth and final installment of building the hard-to-kill human, we focus on mental preparation.  This includes your knowledge base, interpreting your surroundings, and preparing yourself mentally to respond to a dangerous situation.  

We continue our coverage of the CIA's mind control program. While we really have no idea the depths to which the MK Ultra project's research plunged, due to the fact that nearly all the project's documents were destroyed at the direction of then CIA Director, Richard Helms, what we do know from the declassified financial documents is still pretty horrifying. These documents make it clear that they were experimenting on unwitting citizens, military members, and prisoners, implementing trauma-based experimentation, and attempting to cover their tracks with front operations & deceptive practices. While they claim this type of research ended in the 1970s, there's little doubt in our minds that it is ongoing, more advanced, and more insidious.
