The Outro 74 - Reach The Beach
A special bonus episode that we're also calling "The Outro" for episode 74.
We're joined by some members of the "Ultra Penguins" who just ran in this past weekends Reach The Beach Ragnar Relay. They were members of Erika's team and it was fun getting to hear who the 200 mile event went.
Hope you enjoy this bonus episode with Knute, Erika, Eric (E2), Karen and Denise.

On The Runs 59 - Jennie Clark - Ragnar Immortal
Episode 59 is a fun when we finally get to talk to a friend we made last fall at Ragnar Reach The Beach. Meeting new people at 1am in the pitch black is totally normal right? That's how we met Jennie (06:51). She's a two time Ragnar Immortal, travels the country in comfort and loves Top Gun! What isn't there to like? Jennie shares her story and the stories within the story on the pod with us.
Eric and Erika also catch up on the Memorial Day weekend, they pump the tires for the upcoming Goffstown Gallop on June 24 (Erika's favorite race). They end the episode talking about last weeks episode that blew up in the charts and some future plans / ideas for the pod that hopefully you'll see in the next few months.

Chapter Twenty: The Foundling
The Briikasak gang chats about the Carl Weathers directed "The Foundling." Why did the covert pick such a dangerous base? Has Ahmed Best's Star Wars reputation been saved? Does Cork have a new favorite episode? Is the Armorer flirting with Bo-Katan?
Briikasak is a Mando'a word meaning a social gathering among comrades during difficult times. In Briikasak: A Mandalorian Podcast, three queer comrades with varying degrees of Star Wars knowledge socially gather to discuss The Mandalorian, Mandalorian lore, and Star Wars in general.
The Vikings
The history of the ancient Scandinavian people is one that has kind of taken on a life of its own over the years. It's been dramatized and embellished to gain popularity, and here's the kicker, none of it was needed. Vikings were an incredible group of people who's influence is still heavily felt today in our modern world. They discovered America wayyyy before ol Christopher "Turns out I was a huge douche" Columbus and interacted with civilizations as far as North Africa. Their shipbuilding and seafaring is legendary and lets not even get started on their warriors. Hit that play button and strap in, to Valhalla we go.
We are back! Long overdue Bigfoot Festival catch up, the 2020 European cup and the Olympics. Craft ale and of course Beer or BS.
We are back!
Due to illness of one of our team - we took an unexpected break from recording.
We are now back in the saddle and back to our old ways. In this show we do an overdue wrap up of Bigfoot festival – the craft beer festival in Warwickshire. We talk about the European Cup and Olympics. With Aaron getting married between recording and publication of this show – we discuss weddings and nerves. Finally, to wrap up we do a round of ‘Beer or BS’ – our silly but fin quiz. Three craft beers are also blind tasted.
Ales Tasted:
- The Table Beer by Anspach & Hobday (Table Beer) – 2.7% ABV
Rachel rates 7.7 out of 10 - North X Bundobust by Salted Lemon Sour (Sour) – 4.2% ABV
Aaron rates 7.6 out of 10 - Castilian Lemon Honey Cheescake by Siren Craft Brew (Sour IPA) - 6.2% ABV
Geoff rates out 8.5 of 10
Aaron's Craft Beer Suggestion:
- See Food and Dance - Verdant Brewing Co - 6.5% ABV (NEIPA)
The powerhouse hop pairing of Mosaic and Galaxy fires dank and fruity hop grenades across your tongue with effortless ease. Smooth and light but incredibly deep and ripe flavours abound.
Vikings: The Sons of Ragnar
In a continuation of the previous episode the team discuss the feats of Ragnar Lothbrok's sons.
Ep 7 - Ragnar Lothbrok: the legend, the show, the historical background
In this episode, Daniel and Mathias are discussing Ragnar Lothbrok, the historical background to the saga legends, and how the show "Vikings" portrays him. Is he real or fictional? What about his sons? There are many questions, and the answer is as always: it's complicated. Daniel and Mathias also treat the most recent update from the UK anti-terrorism task force on Viking Age symbols used by right-wing extremists.
