    Esoterotica: "Healing"

    Esoterotica: "Healing"

Welcome to Esoterotica’s “Healing” for August 19, 2020.

Healing is the ultimate in choice. And with that in mind, we want to begin this show with a trigger warning.

TW: to face the worst that we have been through, be it acute or gradual—acknowledging and working to rid ourselves of coping mechanisms patch-worked together that no longer serve us—we sometimes must confront the worst in ourselves and tell the truth of who we are working to become. That can be difficult to listen to. It can also be a place where you feel seen and understood like nowhere else. Our Provocateurs have gone hard for this show, and we want you to take care of yourselves.

Over the years, one element of our show that has managed to draw both readers and audiences alike has been the desire and strength to travel deeper into Healing. I maintain that not only is the act of healing ones self one of the single sexiest things we can do, but that it is an essential right. We all deserve the chance to heal.

Featuring: Aimé SansSavant, Geoff Munsterman, Shadow Angelina, the fischer Pete, Just Shannon, Gwydion Emrys, Panzachual, and Juliet Rose.

Ep.4: Let's Unpack The "N" Word with Detrick Manning

In this episode, Christina unpacks the history of the words "n*gger" and "n*gga," the reappropriation and use of n*gga amongst the African-American community, and the reasons why its use outside of the community isn't appropriate. Later during Tea Time, we have special guest Detrick Manning share his story of being called a n*gger by a Cornell University student.

Cal DeWitt and Majora Carter — Discovering Where We Live: Reimagining Environmentalism

Environmentalism and climate change are hot topics; yet they’re still often imagined as the territory of scientists, expert activists, and those who can afford to be environmentally conscious. We discover two people who are transforming the ecology of their immediate worlds in Dunn, Wisconsin and New York’s South Bronx.
