Get ready for a walk down memory lane as we journey back to my childhood holidays in Menorca! Remember the thrill and anticipation of experiencing a new destination - sans my older brother - with my parents? That innocent period of self-catering accommodations and the subsequent realisation of the allure of all-inclusive holidays - those were the days! But don’t worry, we won’t get stuck in the past. We’ll also navigate through the year it all transpired, adding a touch of nostalgia to this reminiscing session. 

Fast forward to my teenage years, caught in the paradox of wanting to taste the nightlife yet not quite old enough, and wanting to escape the younger kids. The only sanctuary? A pub in the midst of the World Cup. And just when you think it's all fun and games, the holiday takes a disastrous turn. But life is all about expecting the unexpected, right? Imagine being holed up with a group of "gangsters" during the 1998 World Cup, amidst the notorious David Beckham red card incident. Sounds like quite the adventure, doesn't it? Stick around to find out how this chaotic escapade turned out to be a fantastic holiday that made me some unexpected new friends.

Ok so yet another podcast is named after a name Kelly butchered, but this time I don't catch it and let's her run with it all podcast long.  Besides that, we talk Champions and Europa Leagues, what fans are demanding from ESL owners, and the HUGE event that unfolded before the eventual postponement of Man Utd vs Liverpool.  We dive into what the players must be feeling because I felt that no one cared about them.  We also get into the red cards, the old men scoring, and have a breakdown in the middle of the pod.  Tune in and have a laugh, this one gets silly.

1. Over communicate with all adults involved: choose a format/technology that works, and use it. When in doubt, communicate about it.
2. Be respectful, calm, and patient with everyone involved, even if you’re the only one doing it (“A soft answer turns away wrath”).
3. Use discernment to learn to choose your battles very carefully: differentiate between personal dislikes and ‘red flag’ issues.
4. Be willing to graciously give way on minor issues. Yes, this comes with risk, but it’s still the right thing to do sometimes.
5. Choose to believe the best about the other household, and be sure to celebrate and acknowledge it when you see it ("A real desire to believe all the good you can of others and to make others as comfortable as you can will solve most of the problems." - CS Lewis, in 'Mere Christianity').
