    Synopsis:

This week Todd is holding down the fort to bring you all those Brewtal goods while Arie is out of town on a film gig! Todd has some exciting plans for the weekend while also making even more exciting plans for later in ht eyear. These plans, and his beer, have him redlining his RPMs with the fantastic IPA he was gifted from out of town friends. Pushing the Brewtal engine even harder are metal headlines such as Shadows Fall reuniting for a reunion show later this year, Between the Buried and Me expanding on the Colors universe with the announcment of Colors II, and one of our new favorite bands, and Brewtal alumni, Snake Father dropping their FILTHY debut album 'Pathways To Corruption.' Just when you thought you could let off the gas a little bit, Todd brings you some Insights into a new metalcore outfit that has that big Texas attitude, with just a hint of Self Doubt. Nothing that a nice, cold craft beer can't fix though!

    Featured Band:

This week's episode features Self Doubt from Insights.

    Bio:

Insights is full of power, from striking the perfect balance of songs that make you bang your head to beautifully crafted melodic and heavy riffs and captivating vocals.

    What Insights Are Drinking:

    Ep. 41 - Busting Back Lines, Italian Style… And A 12-Year-Old Expert!

On this weeks show, Fisher shares the news of two new podcast apps now available free in your Android or iPhone store.  Twin sisters have reunited after 78 of separation.  We’ll have the happy story for you.  Letters written from the European Theater in the heat of battle in World War II have been found in a storage locker and returned to the man’s son.  Hear how it all came about.  Fisher also gets a family history story out of Charles Fleischer, the voice of Roger Rabbit.  You won’t believe this guy’s background!

Kathy Kirkpatrick of gentracer.com and Adrian Benjamin Burke, a New York researcher, talk about what’s happening in Italian ancestry research in 2014, with some great stories from the trail.  And, you’ll meet Hyrum Veach… expert genealogist… when he’s not in elementary school!  Hear what this 12-year-old has to say.  (He’s already been at it for five years!)

Preservation Authority Tom Perry has filled you in on disks the last few weeks… now… what’s the best format your needs?  He’ll tell you.  And Fisher tells you the breathtaking story he uncovered of a man he knew as a boy… a friend of his parents… who served in counter-intelligence in World War II.
