Victoria started online dating after her divorce. That's where she first met Brandon. In the beginning, Brandon was saying and doing all the right things to make Victoria believe this was a man that respected and loved her. Years into their relationship, however, Victoria discovered that footage that Brandon took of her without her knowledge and consent had been uploaded onto Pornhub. Even after the arduous journey to get the footage removed from Pornhub, those videos continue to pop up all over the internet.

Victoria talks with Fight the New Drug about her experience fighting Pornhub to get her nonconsensual videos removed, the trauma that followed after her image-based abuse, and what she's doing now to advocate for herself and other victims who have found themselves in similar situations.

Like most adolescents today, Smith was exposed to porn well before the age of 18. His porn consumption escalated without his parents’ knowledge, and by the time he was 11, he says he was consuming porn five to seven times per day. His porn consumption and the shame that he felt because of it were two factors that led him to want to end his own life. Smith made a suicide plan, but he says he didn’t want to go through with it when he learned about Fight the New Drug. On one of Australia's biggest reality television shows, the fallout from what has been labelled a 'nude photo scandal' continues, with two young women being publicly pitted against each other, after one shared a naked image of the other.

But why do we continue to frame these issues in a way that implies that a woman should be ashamed of her naked body, instead of focusing on the person who chooses to share these images maliciously?

The Quicky speaks to an expert in social media, and a mother whose daughter was blackmailed with nude photos, to find out how we can stop weaponising images of women and girls.

Πέντε χρόνια με τριετή αναστολή και χρηματικό πρόστιμο στον Στάθη Παναγιωτόπουλο για την υπόθεση του revenge porn. Για πολλούς από εμάς αυτό δεν είναι τιμωρία αλλά «χάδι». Το αδίκημα όμως εκδικάστηκε ως πλημμέλημα και η ποινή φυλάκισης των 5 ετών ήταν η ανώτατη που προβλέπεται από τη νομοθεσία. Τι γίνεται λοιπόν; Γιατί σε άλλες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες το έγκλημα αυτό θα είχε εκδικαστεί διαφορετικά ενώ εδώ πάλι τρέχουμε πίσω από τις εξελίξεις;

Λίγο πριν εκπνεύσει μια χρονιά γεμάτη ξυλοδαρμούς, βιασμούς και δολοφονίες γυναικών, ένας πανελίστας που προσπαθούσε να μας κάνει να γελάσουμε, κατηγορείται ότι χρησιμοποιούσε βίντεο από ιδιαίτερες στιγμές και γυμνές φωτογραφίες γυναικών, για να τις «εκδικηθεί»! Ο Σταύρος Θεοδωράκης πιστεύει ότι ο διασυρμός του γυμνού γυναικείου σώματος δεν μπορεί πλέον να αντιμετωπίζεται από την πολιτεία ως απλό πλημμέλημα και ότι οι δράστες δεν πρέπει να έχουν την επιείκεια κανενός μας.

Ο Θωμάς Ζάμπρας γύρισε από τα Τρίκαλα και είχε την πιο θερμή (όχι) υποδοχή από την παραγωγό του, βγαίνει με τους φίλους του και συζητούν για γάγγραινα και φυματίωση, περνάει τέλεια μαζί με 4000 παπάδες, αναρωτιέται τι κουβά πρέπει να αγοράσει κανείς για να κάψει βιβλία του Ευγένιου Τριβιζά, βλέπει Power Rangers, και με αφορμή την υπόθεση του Στάθη Παναγιωτόπουλου, διερωτάται πόσο ειλικρινής μπορεί να είναι μια συγνώμη γεμάτη ψέματα.

Ο Στάθης Παναγιωτόπουλος ζητάει συγγνώμη γιατί «υπό την επήρεια κακής συγκυρίας» στη ζωή του, έκανε μια «τεράστια απερισκεψία»: να ανεβάσει δηλαδή σε πορνογραφικά σάιτ βίντεο και φωτογραφίες της πρώην κοπέλας του. Μια απερισκεψία που κράτησε… 2-3 χρόνια και που γύρισε εναντίον του σαν μπούμερανγκ, διασύροντας τελικά τον ίδιο και τερματίζοντας την τηλεοπτική του καριέρα. Η Γιούλα Ράπτη εύχεται να λειτουργήσει σαν παράδειγμα προς αποφυγή για κάτι που λάθος ονομάζεται « πορνό» ή «ροζ βίντεο». 

This week on All Ears, Abby is joined by Ellen Pao. Pao made headlines in 2012 when she sued venture capital firm Kleiner-Perkins for gender discrimination. In 2015 she lost the lawsuit, but it sent shockwaves throughout Silicon Valley and got people talking about the rampant bro-culture, sexism and bad behaviors that had gone unchallenged there for so long. She went on to become the interim CEO of Reddit, where she banned revenge porn and shut down some of the worst subreddits. Now she runs Project Include, a non-profit that is focused on increasing diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. In this week’s conversation with Abby, she talks about the impact of her lawsuit, her brief but influential time at Reddit, Silicon Valley’s obsession with 26 year-old white, cis men in hoodies, and her hope for the future of the tech industry.
