Richard Jewell and the 96' Olympic Park Bombing

July 27th 1996, Atlanta, Georgia. The Summer Olympics are in full swing when a bomb goes off in Centennial Park amidst spectators, musical acts, and vendors. 111 people are injured and 2 killed. Those numbers would have been a lot worse had it not been for the actions of Richard Jewell, a security guard who noticed an unattended backpack. Richard went from savior to public enemy number in what felt like a matter of days when it was discovered he was under investigation for the attack. Listen to his story here.

    Paul Walter Hauser (Actor)

    Paul Walter Hauser (Actor)

In the latest episode of What's Your Limp? Jordan talks with actor Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell, I Tonya, Cruella).

Paul quickly climbed the ranks in Hollywood and has worked with some of the best actors and filmmakers in the industry. But it all makes sense when you watch his performances, because he holds his own with every legend he's shared the screen with. Not only that, but he's a genuinely good person, which explains why so many people are so eager to work with him.

However, even though Paul has built a career for himself that 99% of actors would kill for, it hasn't been without his struggles. In this episode, Paul opens up about his insecurities from imposter syndrome, to body image issues to anxiety and more. He also dives into how he's attempting to better himself as a person and is actively working on making necessary changes.

Paul is an incredibly humble, honest, genuine and kind-hearted person. He's one of those people you can't help but root for - and I think all of that is apparent in this conversation.

    Episode 7 - I'm Not Mad, I'm Just Disappointed

So there's good news and bad news! After experiencing more technical issues than Skynet, we finally got this episode uploaded and ready to go...but...without Kasen! This is a "SOLO HOST" episode with Keenan talking about his biggest disappointment of 2019, the incredible Netflix 1-2 punch of "Marriage Story" & "Dolemite is My Name", and the mind blowing revelation that dogs on television shows might not understand they are acting. Ridiculous amount of blockbuster movie trailers! Ridiculous amount of upcoming releases! Ridiculous amount of time spent listening to the "Mortal Kombat" theme music! It's all here, except for Kasen...but we promise next week he will make his triumphant "Avengers: Endgame" return!

As always, time stamps are below for anyone that wants to hear Keenan do a "Jacob from Twilight" impression.

0:20 - Intro/We miss the Heart of Chicago
3:21 - Are dogs aware they are on camera or are they in that Gary Busey mindset (thank you ErikaEiseland!)
4:40 - Golden Globe nominations are out...and we don't really care!
6:40 - What has Keenan been watching...FIRE...no anime (The Farewell, Ready or Not, Freaks)
12:59 - The biggest disappointment of 2019 is..............
20:35 - The movie trailer gods have rewarded us!!! WOW!! (Black Widow, No Time to Die, Mulan, Free Guy, Wonder Woman 1984, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Boys - Season 2)
29:59 - Will "Marriage Story" break your heart?? Will "Dolemite is My Name" make you pee your pants?? YES AND YES

Episode 58 - A Sports Therapy Session, ft. The Ghost of Richard Jewell

Episode 58 - A Sports Therapy Session, ft. The Ghost of Richard Jewell

It’s been a truly difficult week for your Sports Lordz and this week’s episode will serve as entertainment for you serfs, and therapy for your Lordz. We start with some truly great news as our own Jimmy O’Connell got hitched! After recapping the union of two wonderful people, we dive into the despair that we three Lordz live on a day to day basis: being fans of sports teams from the state Georgia. We start the episode by recapping the epic collapse of the Atlanta Braves and the fallout that has come from that nightmare of a series. We then shift to more bad news for Jimmy as we recap the upset of his beloved Georgia Bulldogs to unranked South Carolina and also take a look at what happened in college football this past weekend, including a rare win for Diego’s Vols. Then we return to more losing as the Falcons put the shit cherry on top of a bad week with a loss that couldn’t be more “Atlanta”, and end the saddest segment in our show’s history by breaking down the Curse of the 96 Olympics and what that exactly means for us ad fans of Atlanta sports. We then shift to some less sad topics and add names to our “all-name list”, hand out a Lord of the Week, and discuss Lebron’s bad take on the current NBA vs. China situation. Later, we are joined by the ghost of Richard Jewell, who tells us about his life, the afterlife, and why he’s still cursing our beloved sports teams. Our cathartic therapy session ends in true Sports Lordz fashion with a new round of DABS!
