    Episode 19: Deep Trouble

Billy and his sister, Sheena, are visiting their uncle Dr. Deep on a tiny Caribbean island. It's the perfect place to go exploring underwater...and Billy's ready for an adventure. There's only one rule to remember: Stay away from the coral reefs. Still, the reefs are so beautiful. So peaceful. Billy can't resist. But he's not alone in the water. Something's lurking deep below the surface. Something dark and scaly. Something half-human, half-fish...

    Episode 18: Monster Blood II

    Episode 18: Monster Blood II

Evan Ross can't stop thinking about Monster Blood and what happened last summer. It was so horrible. So terrifying. Too bad Evan's science teacher doesn't believe him. Now he's stuck cleaning out the hamster's cage as punishment for making up stories. Then Evan's friend Andy comes to town, and things go from bad to worse. Because Andy's got a present for Evan. Episode 14: The Werewolf of Fever Swamp

Episode 14: The Werewolf of Fever Swamp

There's something horrible happening in Fever Swamp. Something really horrible. It started with the strange howling at night. Then there was the rabbit, torn to shreds. Everyone thinks Grady's new dog is responsible. After all, he looks just like a wolf. And he seems a little on the wild side. But Grady knows his dog is just a regular old dog. And most dogs don't howl at the moon. Or disappear at midnight. Or change into terrifying creatures when the moon is full. Or do they?

    Episode 11: The Haunted Mask

    Episode 11: The Haunted Mask

How ugly is Carly Beth's Halloween mask? It's so ugly that it almost scared her little brother to death. So terrifying that even her friends are totally freaked out by it. It's the best Halloween mask ever. It's everything Carly Beth hoped it would be. And more. Maybe too much more. Because Halloween is almost over. And Carly Beth is still wearing that special mask...

    #26 Throwback – The X-Files (1993) / Fear Street (1989)

    #26 Throwback – The X-Files (1993) / Fear Street (1989)

Lang, lang ist’s her! Stines Instagram Account!

    Achtung!
    - In dieser Folge gelten milde Spoilerwarnungen für "The X-Files" und den Fear Street Band “The Lifeguard” / “Das Verhängnis” (1994).

Interview with Goosebumps Illustrator Tim Jacobus

Interview with Goosebumps Illustrator Tim Jacobus
Awhile back, I released a couple of Goosebumps episode with my buddy, Dan Vorbeck.  Goosebumps books were such a big part of our lives for a good portion of our childhood, but not just for the stories themselves.  Don't get me wrong, R.L.  Stine definitely had a knack for creeping out young adults, but what made the books even better was the artwork on the cover.  Time and time again, I would flip back to the front of the book to admire it, and then resume whatever chapter I was on.  Whether it was the details in the texture of the Haunted Mask, or the sheen on the face of Slappy the Dummy, the artwork of every Goosebumps book was top notch.

So at the end of 2022, when I had the opportunity to interview the illustrator of all of the original Goosebumps books, Tim Jacobus, you KNOW I couldn't resist.   We had a great conversation just before the holidays, and I am so excited to finally be able to share that conversation with you, right here, on Generation 'S'.

    Episode #7 - Tim Jacobus

    Episode #7 - Tim Jacobus

GOOSEBUMPS books cover artist TIM JACOBUS joins us on an epic episode of Passions Personified.

With over 400 Million books sold worldwide, R.L. Stines Goosebumps book series held the record for best selling book series for several years.  Tims art is known globally and was also a major influence in the hit Goosebumps Television Show as well as the two major hollywood blockbuster Goosebumps movies starring Jack Black.

Join us as we talk about the behind the scenes stories to some of the most iconic Goosebumps covers of all time.  And leave the show with some absolutely valuable information that Tim gives for those wanting to have a career as an artist. You are all in for a treat my friends. Enjoy.

Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021): "Lesbian Jump Scare"

Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021): "Lesbian Jump Scare"

You should know by now that there’s little we love more than a surprise lesbian reveal here at Spooky Tuesday — and when a movie pulls that off while throwing in a handful of Scream references, Maya Hawke, and one of the best deaths we’ve ever seen, you know it’s going to be a winner in our book. Fear Street Part One: 1994 (2021) is only the first third of a trilogy, but the way it starts the story off with a bang earned it a place in our Pride Month Lineup. With (debatably) iconic dialogue and intense Riverdale vibes, this sapphic story is at the very least a good time.
