Season 4 - what a long strange trip it's been! It all comes down to this, perhaps the grandaddy of them all, as the society watches the 1964 Disney classic Mary Poppins, directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, and David Tomlinson.   Join us as we see what the Disney studio is capable of at the height of its powers, but will it be enough for our resident film critic Andy?  Will the spontaneous singing and British children be too much for him to bear?  Will the appearance of his favorite least favorite Ed Wynn be more than he can handle?  Join us for a trip to foggy Londontown with everyone's favorite nanny and timelord, but come prepared to question capitalism and absentee parenting, and bring your best cockney accent along for the ride!

Le dépaysement ne signifie pas forcément que nous allons nous déplacer et encore moins garantir un moment agréable.

Alors que vous soyez sur une île déserte (avec un peu wifi), en trek à la montage ou tout simplement au bureau, nous allons vous donner une dose d’évasion avec la destination du jour.

This week the society gets the "come hither" put on them by the King of Leprechauns as they watch the 1959 period drama Darby O'Gill And The Little People, directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Janet Munro and 007 himself: a young Sean Connery.  Join us as we explore the lore of the little people under a haze of pub drinking.  Be aware if your children watch this movie a few scenes may haunt them for the rest of their lives! However, if you need to know everything about the Leprechaun code, this be the place!

The society is ALL IN 4 FUN in this our first episode of Season 3!  This week the society returns to our glorious alma mater in 1963's comedy Son Of Flubber, directed by Robert Stevenson and starring Fred MacMurray, Nancy Olson, and Kenan Wynn as Alonzo Hawk.  Join us as we return to the world of Ned Brainard and his marital woes and wacky troublesome inventions.  Bring tape for your windows, a saxaphone to dump your snacks in, and your tax records, you'll need them all in Medfield!
