Bernie Taupin is a songwriter whose five decades long collaboration with Elton John is considered to be the most successful songwriting partnerships in history is chronicled in the new film "Rocketman." Bernie and Elton's songs have resulted in 35 gold and 25 platinum albums along with 30 Top 40 hits in the U.S. Bernie is also a lifelong visual artist who started concentrating on painting in the 1990s later sculpture. His visual art exhibition "Bernie Taupin: The Artist, The Raconteur & His Blowtorch" is open to the public now at Galerie Michael in Beverly Hills through June 30th. During this podcast, Bernie discusses his art and his music and the intersection of the two. He discusses his successful 50-year collaboration with Elton John, his process and inspiration in both art and music, and Bernie reveals his review about the movie "Rocketman" in theaters now.

Pardon the delay but it's been a busy week with weird work schedules, graduations, and such keeping us from delivering on time. Hope everyone is doing well. Ok..lets do this.

This week we talk graduations, killer Uber drivers, and whether or not we both literally need psychological therapy. We also give some shout outs to some VIP listeners that have been extra supportive.

He's also watched Always Be My Maybe on Netflix, as well as Godzilla King Of The Monsters. Steve and Dan discuss the first episode of Black Mirror season 5 and ponder the future. Lastly Dan gives his opinion on his recent viewing of Rocketman.

Non ce n’est pas une défaillance de votre agrégateur de podcast, n’essayez donc pas de régler le son… et oui pour ce nouveau numéro de Fin de Séance, Thomas Camacho et Pierre Delort ont décidé de laisser les rênes à Ilan Ferry et Julien Munoz de Cinevibe.fr. 

La raison de leur départ conjoint n’est pas connu mais il se murmure que les deux amis auraient convolé en juste noces… pourpres ! A grands pouvoirs, grandes responsabilités, la team Cinevibe a donc décidé de ne pas se laisser abattre devant cette tâche monstrueuse. Et de monstres il en est justement question ici puisque nos deux podcasteurs qui gagnent toujours à la fin s’attaquent à Godzilla 2 et Rocketman. 

D’un côté un roi des monstres qui n’a rien à envier à Casimir en termes de gloubibougla, de l’autre un monstre sacré de la musique en proie à ses démons. De l’homme ou de la bête qui triomphera ?
